Obama Maybe Poised for a Comeback

September 16, 2011 RSS Feed Print

Pollster John Zogby updates our weekly Obama Report Card with a grade on the president's performance. Zogby uses his polling, expert analysis and interaction with major players to come up with a grade and some comments that capture how he sees the president's week ending.

John Zogby on Week: 139

"Opinion polls had Team Obama feeling better, but then an actual election loss in a 3-to-1 Democratic Congressional district demonstrated the troubles Obama faces with discouraged voters. Was the Republican win in former Rep. Anthony Weiner's district a rejection of Obama, or just the result of a poorly run campaign and local issues particular to the heavily Jewish Orthodox Brooklyn-Queens district? Our polling suggested Obama doing better nationally, as both independents and Democrats helped improve both his job approval and re-election numbers after his jobs speech to Congress. While Democrats may panic over the loss of a New York City seat, what's left of the Republican establishment is worried that Rick Perry is a runaway train headed to the Presidential nomination and defeat next November. Finally keep an eye on what could become Obama's first potential serious ethics problem, a $500 million loan to now shuttered solar panel company Solyndra, whose major backers are associated with Obama campaign fundraiser George Kaiser."

This week's grade: C-

Last week's: B-

It is relatively easy, for those who are politically attuned, to see that Zogby consistantly slants to the left as not only does this blog present as such, but historically, his previous blogs as well.

The many evidences are clear that Obama has caused, and is continuing to cause, far too much negative turmoil in nearly every aspect with the running of our federal government. With this conclusion, Mr. Obama needs to be relieved of duty., and the sooner (if possible), the better.

The suggestion that the Democratic Party hold a presidential primary, RE: inject Hillary Clinton as a POTUS candidate, is an incongrous idea that will spell total disaster for them in the 2012 presidential elections.

My only personal suggestion is for the Democrat Party to graciously concede

...as there is no other viable alternative.

Spin, spin, spin, spin - Zogobamaby continues to be Obamawannataxandspendalot only shovel ready project that is delivering - but what he's shoveling for his masters smells pretty foul!

Hitler was also poised for a comeback before the battle of the bulge, anyone with an ounce of unbiased political sense knows how that worked out for him is about the same as 2012 is going to work out for this administration.

Zogby says: "Obama may be poised for a comeback"...

"Scandal-Gate"

The new reference to Obama's 2012 re-election campaign:

First there was Fast and Furious, then there was Solyndra and now there is LightSquared -- three high-level scandals that involve allegations of cover-ups inside the Obama administration.

For a president who is already dragging another unpopular agenda (Stimulus II) and low marks on his handling of the economy along the campaign trail, this scandal trio is seriously bad news, folks.

A "comeback"

.....indeed!
