Why did you take down the video? You are acting very UNAmerican by giving in to socialist threats.

I am just a small guy in this world but I come from a very proud family of long standing Ford owners, if you are going to make an opinion on public record you better be able to back up your statements (NOFLUER). This is the actual statement from, Kimberly Amadeo, About.com Guide, "Ford requested a $9 billion line-of-credit from the government, and a $5 billion loan from the Energy Department. Ford pledged to accelerate development of both hybrid and battery-powered vehicles, retool plants to increase production of smaller cars, close dealerships, and sell Volvo. Ford is in better shape than GM or Chrysler because it had already mortgaged its assets in 2006 to raise $24.5 billion. Although Ford didn't need, and didn't receive any funds, it also didn't want its competition to get the upper hand thanks to the government bailout." If you are thinking about the ford credit taking the goverment loan please note that all 3 of the automakers hold there credit services separate from their automaker corporation.

You know, I used to have a lot to say about all of this. As I would iterate, it was easy to see that noone cared, noone listened. I don't want to say anything-I don't want to hear one word from this Obama guy EVER again. I just want his time in office to pass so that we can have NO CHOICE once again. I don't want to hear one word from this congress or senate. The last election gave us NO CHOICE and the next election will give us NO CHOICE, but it can't get worse no matter who it is for four more years--Then we'll do it once again...Does this sound like the America that we deserve?? Who would EVER believe anything EVER again after seeing this congress and this president??? NOONE-------NOONE-------NOONE...............About all we can do anymore, is make sure that NOT ONE of those fools ever stay one day longer than their four years is all. Then we'll pay another idiot to be and look stupid to us and the entire world for four more years until we are all blown into smithereens one fine day. I am sorry that I ever fought for this country. I am sorry that I have paid taxes(and very much) to this country. I hate to hear "leaders" say that we have the best military-we don't. I hate to hear the misinformed say that we are "still"(they all seem to add that), the "best" place to live-we are not even close. I was an army ranger(i used to always capitalize Ranger) in Vietnam. I have a masters in engineering. The American dream: Work hard and achieve-That was me. There is no dream for children today. They will only hope to survive as we tumble into the second world shortly. Perhaps it will stop there-Perhaps not. I don't know any more. We're not a nation "OF THE PEOPLE" any longer. We are a pathetic excuse of politico vs THE PEOPLE. Is a shame, but true. THE PEOPLE watch and do nothing. We see an Egypt erupt, we see a Libya in absolute chaos chasing a dictator around like a bunch of fools, all the while-we are in the exact same situation YET we do nothing. We are more like Iran than we will EVER admit. People hiding behind closed doors pointing a finger at the "leaders" who couldn't lead a monkey through the jungle. YES, IS TRUE-WHAT YOU SEW-SO SHALL YOU REAP.

Well... nice idea (that Ford didn't take a bailout) - but it's not true. Ford borrowed billions from the government. The author of this story should do more research before writing.

Ford should continue to play to it's strengths. Most people don't know what started the chain of reaction to the events which put us on this collision course.

How funny it is when people still defend Obama. Responsibility and accountabiltiy go hand and hand, if it happens on your watch you are responsible for your actions or lack of actions, accountable for your response or lack of response. I think this sollar company going bankrupt with over 500 million of our hard earned dollars and this operation gunrunner are examples of incompatence and lack of a back bone.
