"While some opponents are indignant that President Obama should vacation on Martha's Vineyard when so much is going wrong, we've had some rare good news during his absence from the White House. Long-time U.S. nemesis Muammar Qadhafi is being ousted, and Team Obama will certainly expect some credit for its strategy of aiding the rebels. They had better hold off on the victory lap until we know whether the Libyan government will be friendly, or at least not hostile, to U.S. interests. At home, the stock market may have hit bottom, but still has a long way to go before investors regain full confidence and stocks regain values lost over the past month. Even with these positive developments, the White House should know the appearance of hanging out on one of the Eastern elite's favorite vacation haunts doesn't look good."
