fernanda medina is RIGHT-ON...I lived in New Mexico for a long-time. Hispanic business owners were always expected to vote for democraps because they supported the welfare state. The governor of New Mexico is Hispanic, Republican WOMAN. We cannot afford the spending spree of liberal democrats at the Federal Level. Its like giving a credit card to a teenage girl and expecting her not to max out the card and head into overdraft.
There is no difference between a socialist and a liberal democrat.....give me ONE difference....just one

Ryan would be best for America's survival and best influence on Romney to not print another bailout ton of money for anyone. This helps the poor by not diluting what money they do have or receive. The liberal socialist communist block hate his plan, so you know it's the best for the USA.

Disgusted voter of CA: You've stated exactly what I wanted to say, but more articulately. I'm not Hispanic, but the idea that the Republicans kick around Hispanics for years and then think they can assuage them with a token VP angered me to no end. I hope that in the coming election Hispanics will be a political powerhouse.

Latinos vote for Republicans because they believe in the individual's ability to create, innovate and create opportunity for others (I'm talking about jobs!). As Hispanics, we instinctively reject statist, big government elitist confiscating the people's hard-earned dollars to finance their failed social expirements that lead people to dependency and a mediocre lifestyle. Free the markets, free the individual, free the private sector to grow, to expand and to renew America. Government is not the answer, and Hispanics know it. Government only takes what it doens't have and distorts the markets.

Does the Republican Part think the Latinos are so mindless, that we will automatically vote for them because they place a "puppet" in the race? The Republican Party has had such disrespect for our culture. Our culture has been in this country longer than Europeans and yet Americans of Latino culture are blatantly discriminated against as if we are all illegals. I for one will never vote for a party that has used our culture to stir up people by blaming us for the mess this country is in today. During every election illegals are used to get people to vote for Republicans. Get real!!!

This is just for show. The GOP put no women or minorities on the Super Committee. They think only white men should make decisions for all Americans. I will never vote for the GOP no matter who they pick to be VP.

It irks me to see some "less informed" individual act like they really know something and then have the audacity to tell people to get THEIR facts straight. Jindal parents, Amar and Raj Jindal, came to the United States as immigrants from Punjab, India a few months before he was born. Thus, he is NOT a Native American Indian. He is an AMERICAN of Indian descent.

Let the republicans have a Hispanic vice president. I bet he will have more illegals deported than they hop the fence. There will be no favoritism because of his heritage. If anything, he will be harsher on Hispanics than whites just to prove he is one of them.
