I am a Tea Party member, Republicans should not bend. CUT CAP and BALANCE is the only way to go. If we dont stop it here, the prolonged recession and the eventual crash will be worse in a few months or earlier.

The markets will plunge on a comprimise. And btw, we do you have to comprimise your principles, that's what got us here.

NO NEW TAXES! READ MY TYPING!

I am a Republican, but the Tea Party is moronic and living in lala land. They need to know that Big Boy politics is about compromise. While Boehner is getting reamed by the Tea Party for giving in, Obama is getting killed by his left wing lunatics. I hate to break it to the Tea Party crazies, but the Democrats have the White House and the Senate. As such, the Tea Party crazies are not going to get everything they want. They are too concerned for getting their way than what is best for the country. I feel bad for Boehner. He is trying to corral a bunch of children throwing temper tantrums.

When you boil it down, in 10 years Reids plan has us at $25 TRILLION in debt and Boehners at $24 TRILLION. So, yeah, it is not hard to figure out why we want all of them gone.

Very simple: pass CC&B again, and call it a day and do not answer your phone until it is signed.

Congress gave the Senate a Cut, Cap and Balance bill, but Senator Reid is too much of a sissy to bring it to the floor for a vote. For once in his life Congressman Boehner has not caved. Now, he needs to tell Reid, "hey I delivered and until your little sissy ass allows the CCB to be voted on by the full Senate....you ain't getting anything else!" NOW CUT CAP AND BALANCE THE #$%^#BUDGET!!!

STOP SPENDING! STOP SPENDING! STOP THE $%#^&^ING SPENDING!

WHAT PART OF THAT DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND??????????

I am a member of the Tea Party and I am not happy about where we are but I am not suicidal either. We have one half of one branch of government and no change in leadership can erase that fact. You want to make the changes we campaigned on then get the White House and the Senate in 2012 - then you can fix the problem. And we cannot poison the well and lose support from independent voters before 2012 or we will lose everything. We have the debt and the size of government smack dab in front of the voters - that is an accomplishment - don't alienate people we need to vote - keep them on our side and get control of the pieces we need to make things happen.

BTW - Perry/Rubio ticket looks good to me.

Boehner is old Washington retread politics. He needs to go. He should be replaced as speaker of the house. I have been a life-long loyal GOP member, but I am ready to support all tea party candidates. They are the only ones being serious and standing firm on this issue. All of Boehners cuts are a shell game!!!

If we can not stand together all is lost ! Under our constitution the house is only 1/3 of the control. We should try to gety the best we can and get Obama and the rest of those idiots out in 2012. BUT IF WE CRACK HERE AND DO NOT SUPPORT THE SPEAKER WE ARE DOOMED SINCE IT WILL NOT GET BETTER IN 2012 AND G-D FORBID OBAMA MIGHT WIN ANOTHER TERM ! I support the tea party agenda BUT you can not get everytning with only control of 1/3rd of the government. Our day is coming !

you want us to choose between eating a turd sandwich and a crap sandwich? yes obamacare sucks but the republican's medical plan involves too much government too.

You do not borrow more money when you've borrowed so much that you cannot make your payments; that's common sense. Start cutting, and begin with the tsars.

I think the attitudes expressed by the Tea Party folks may make them the shortest lived movement in history. Although this independent voter isn't happy with most of what's going on in Washington, the Tea Party nonsense and inability to achieve a meaningful compromise may well have the majority of independents voting for the Democrats next election. And reelecting the President as well!
