John Boenher has been ineffective for years before he became Speaker. We need a new Speaker that will defend GOP and American values. Don't grow the debt. Bush 41 believed the Dem's on tax reform. Learn from that!

Tracy, I would try to explain to you how backwards you have everything but I would be wasting my time. I believe in the things the Tea Party is trying to get our politicians to listen to. I am not rich. I spent 20 years in the army and I now have a job where I work 48 to 60 hours a week so that I can live fairly comfortably. The Tea Party wants our government to live within their budget just like I live within my budget. If I ran my household like the politicians run our government I would be in jail. Throughout our history it has been proven time and again that when you lower taxes government revenue goes up. Why don't you study a little bit of history and learn what you are talking about before you make any comments. Our debt ceiling negotiations probably would not have even had to take place if the democrats had passed a budget in the last couple of years. Our credit rating was downgraded because they could not agree to cuts in spending and we have nothing to back up our money since we did away with the gold standard. You can not just print more money and think that is going to help.

I agree with most, get the teabaggers out of office. I will vote against any one who runs from the tea party. They have totally messed up our government and don't realize its not all about what they want! They are rich money grabbing folks just like the normal Republicans. I'm happy to see the Anti-tea party movenment starting! This is our country and they are destroying it with their hard line politics! Look what they have done with the debt ceiling 'negotiations' and now our credit rating. Lets go America! Get rid of the teabaggers!!!!!

This is all a bunch of propaganda. The TEA PARTY is the hope for America and the indoctrinated cannot see this because they are duped into a state of obedience to their own enemies! They think we are the enemy! NOT! Join us or be a slave and send your childrens childrens children into slavery! Amen, let them move to Hollywood!

It's up to us. It made sense in the early days. We liked the idea of people standing up against the power-grab in Washington. The debt, the taxes, the patriotism. It spoke to us. We felt good in our guts.
But what's happening now? Our elected Tea Party congress is now fighting for their own political power. They have become what we hate. Greedy power-grabbers. They are principled to a fault. Fighting for power, not the republic. They will cause the US to lose it's credit rating for the first time ever. How can that possibly be good for us everyday folks? Our mortgage will be going up. People will lose their jobs as small businesses can no longer afford higher interest rates on their loans. Is this what I voted for?
They have brought Washington to it's knees, but for all the wrong reasons. For power. They are now hurting US. You and me. We, the supporters who put them into power with our vote. We wanted to take back our country and instead created a monster. Their fight now is about power in the Republican party. We thought we had a voice to get the people's business done. But, to them, it's still about power-grabbing! They have become corrupted by Washington already. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
So, it's up to us. The Tea Party Congress wants power even if it hurts America. But, they WILL back down if the people who put them into office make it known that we will not vote for them again. They think they're winning because they think WE are still behind them.
Let them know. We liked the concept, but we hate the extremism. This was a citizen movement and only we citizens can put an end to this. I just hope they're still listening now that they have the power they sought. Write them today. I am.
