Coal Regs Would Kill Jobs, Boost Energy Bills

The "breathing" problems in the US is DIRECTLY attributable NOT to coal, but to CHEMTRAILS (see youtube on 1000's of videos) of chemicals (barium, aluminum, etc) being SPRAYED INTO THE AIR by the U.S. Government. At first it was by CIA planes and Evergreen Air (see aircrap.com). NOW they are using special tanks on commercial airlines plus additional military planes. This has been going on since 1995. The lungs and bloodstream of the entire U.S. population has been severely affected (many are dying). The health industry says 90% are severely depleted of Vit D and iodine. Also 90% now have toxic heavy metals in their bloodstreams. There are ways to remove it through alternative medicine IVs and perhaps a form of clay, but you need to research it.

The EPA needs to be SHUT DOWN FOR INCOMPETENCE. Their primary mission was to protect the air and seas. They've "knowingly" allowed heavy, widespread poisoning of the skies through Chemtrails for 16 years, and they were the MAIN FACTOR allowing the "ongoing dumping of Corexit poisoning" of people, food, and water in the Gulf of Mexico.

As for Obama, ALL OF THIS POISONING OF THE PEOPLE via Chemtrails, corexit, and toxic vaccines is 95% depopulation, supported by the Rockefeller and Bill Gates Foundations.

The U.S. gets 50% of its energy from coal. Obama has SHUT DOWN clean-coal and all new permits under HIS newly-created EPA rules, which he promised to do before election. PROBLEM IS: He has provided NO REPLACEMENT for that 50% and caused rolling electricity blackouts throughout TX and their hospitals. They were FURIOUS. He should already have been IMPEACHED, but ask yourself: WHEN HAS ANY OTHER PRESIDENT PROCEEDED TO CUT OFF 50% OF ELECTRICITY TO THE PEOPLE WITH NOTHING TO REPLACE IT?

Premise is wrong ... Irrational rhetoric will not hold up in a court of Law. The Agenda, will fail.

I'll buy into the argument that we need to cut down on emissions when the Congress, Senate and President start taking public busses back and forth from their home states to Washington DC.

The dramatic increases in asthma in the US(as well as other breathing related problems) is directly attributable to coal fired power. Here in Chicago we have two large, antiquated coal plants located at the southern tip of Lake Michigan. These plants have enjoyed exemption from any EPA regulation because they were granted exemption. The exemption's are because they were so antiquated that they were at the end of their usable life and would soon come off line. This was in the 1970's. Pollution of "fine particles" in Chicago is horrendous. This is a complete circumventing of the law. Cheaper energy is a good thing, but not when is cause childhood asthma (it does and there is a direct correlation to proximity to these plants) to increase dramatically.

The all or nothing arguments are stupid and require non thought. The threats from the coal/energy industry simply do not hold up. these companies will continue to produce power(our need is surely not decreasing) if some safeguards are implemented.

Are there regulations that are over reaching? Of course. That in no way proves that regulation should be ended. It means regulation should be periodically reviewed. Corporations do not care about anything but profit. Which is fine as long as the public does not get confused and think the good of the economy, the environment or the general health are given any consideration. that is what govt is there for. They are innefficient and stupid sometimes, but the alternative(corporations as the keeper of the public will) is catastrophic.

"EPA concludes that it has the authority to find endangerment

whenever it concludes that the harm to be avoided is sufficiently “catastrophic,” even if the likelihood of actual endangerment is remote." USCA Case #09-1322

EPA is interpreting Statutes in Regulatory above and beyond the Law, failing to engage in cost-benefit analysis as required under Law in the Clean Air Act. Plus, overlooking the substantial costs that flow from endangerment findings.

Guarantee it is only a matter of time before EPA and Obama's Administration are made a fool in the eyes of every common sense American.

"Obama's EPA is right!"

Do you have the capacity to respond with reason?

The 180 Billion will be passed on to the consumers by the energy companies. It is the same old twist on words where they say it will punish the evil companies. But, in reality it will be the customers paying the cost. The government is always looking for a feather in their cap that comes out of our wallets. 2012 is coming and the tide will change. Too bad we have to deal with this crap for a while longer. Common sense does prevail today in government. Just the usual stick it to the little guys with slogans to make it sound good

Amazing or I guess a better word would be astionishing. The more the regulations the less coal and then we burst into green energy, whatever that is. The best thing for the Republicans to do is to defund the EPA. Anyway, what makes this so irresponsible, and the Democrats always say we're in this for the average Joe, the little guy, the poor, but, when will these people finally understand the more they do the worse they make it for those they say care about. I mean where is a poor peoson going to get $50 for a green light bulb and what if they have more than one light in their house, how about a garqage? When does the stupidy stop?

You are spot on Mr Hails...what is it going to take to wake people up? Maybe we are seeing that now.

On redistribution of wealth. My father was an Army Captain. He told us that the people with money would have it on payday as the people without money would take their pay and roll the dice. The winners always started the game and the loser seemed to be happy giving their pay to the winners.

When I was in the Army the same situation happened. My room was kitty corner to the 1st Sargents office. The winners would collect their par go to my room, stretch a blanket on the bed and start rolling. Within minutes the losers had lost again and would then turn to the loan sharks in the Battery and borrow against next months pay. $10 for $15.

That's what will happen and does as the losers collect welfare and trade it for drugs or booze and the story continues.

Notice I only accuse the losers. Some will always use the welfare to get out from under their burden.

The end
