This whole argument is such a scam. They say we are unsustainable because we use to many resources, drive to far, eat to much, breath to much, use to much land and rob from other people. So government must step in to be the arbiter of the little guy. But which little guy?

There is an alternative to all of these polluting technologies. We can change to these while being either job neutral or even increase jobs. mostly this alternative would reduce all of the current emissions problems by up to 90%. Curious? Check out www.togetherwecanfixthis.com.

Any treasonous piece of trash that would vote for this(whether it passes or not) should be drug out of the capital and hung by the neck until they are dead!

If we allow this to happen, we all will be using kerosene lamps, battery powered lights. I'm wondering how you're going to able to heat and cool your homes if you can't pay the electric bill. Especially if you're on a fixed income. The EPA should be done away with immediately.

they tare this country down in the name of better health,EPA Please stop helping us!! You are killing us......Oh I think they know this. Why don't they go to the U.N. and see if they can get china to stop burning coal?

Kev of IN, You can ask Rick Perry Republican Governor of Texas, he used his states stimulus funds to plug up 97% of his budget deficit...while complaining about the stimulus. Alaskans fed on stimulus funds as did most of the other "Republican" states. I know in one of my friend's state it saved over 1500 police and fire fighters jobs as well as over 300 teachers jobs, not to mention our 16 health clinics, all of these were jobs. Rick Perry is an obvious hypocrite in the mold of most other Republican Governors who feasted on these funds, yet publicly decried them. Seems typical of what is left of the once great GOP.

Questionman of NY,

Ah, having a cognitive dissonant day are we? If you are federal gvnt worker, a union hack, or a member of Obama's FSA (Free @hit Army), then BHO is definitely your guy. If you believe in individual achievement, economic liberty, the US Constitution, and are generally of the belief that the USA is an exceptional country, then BHO is enemy no. 1.

Challenge, name ONE single initiative that our most-inexperienced-ever-POTUS has pushed that will help the long-term growth of our economy and job market? Just one......finger tapping....finger tapping...tumbleweeds blowing by....a cold wind stirs from the desert...a blue moon rises.....

Barry Soetoro is doing just what he said he would....Fundamentally change the USA. It's the Cloward-Piven strategry of forced crisis.

The "Cloward-Piven Strategy" seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.

Through this, Barry, the man who is not qualified to manage a Taco Bell, is the puppet of George Soros.

It's only going to get worse over the next 18 months.

Hear his words for yourself , he promised to bankrupt the coal industry. You are already paying for his forbidding of any new drilling for oil. (this will change when he runs for a second term, but it will just be symbolic)

gw of CA, first off, whoever made this video has no idea what Obama said.. he didn't say he was going to bankrupt the coal industry...this is about the cap & trade law that the republicans purposed yrs ago ..it says if u are using technology that produces excess carbon ( dioxide ) u will have to pay a penalty by buying carbon credits from industries that do not pollute...as per republican ideology it's nothing more than a financial speculation scheme

second off,

"If you voted for Obama in 2008 to prove you're not a racist, then vote for someone else in 2012 to prove you're not an idiot!"

NO! If you vote against Obama, then you ARE an idiot! Not because of closet racism, but it's because of the GOP nomination is completely pathetic! Newt Gingrich? Sarah Palin? Herman Cain? Is there any wonder why Obama is leading the 2012 election?
