Rep Weiner will rue the day he agreed to resign. In my view, he should have told Nancy Pelosi what to do with her sassy little mouth and refused to resign. Two more weeks would have cured the problem. Now he will have to regret his actions until his dying day. He did not defend himself and he should have.

Amendment IV

(Privacy of the Person and Possessions)

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

IX Amendment

The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

If the police are prohibited from search and seizure of the possessions of people, shouldn't this also apply to the media exposing one's foibles? There was no crime committed.....the MEDIA needs to stop this practice!!!!!!!! Media victimization of ANY citizen should be outlawed!! If it is, an individual's right to privacy (even that of public figures) needs to be enforced, and reinforced.
