America loves it when the military grabs bag guys. Just recall the euphoria when former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein was pulled from his spider hole or when Osama bin Laden was silenced by the Navy SEALs.
The problem: It doesn't always happen. Imagine how history would have changed had U.S. forces grabbed Adolf Hitler or, in modern times, Libyan leader Muammar Qadhafi.
According to the latest Whispers poll, conducted by Synovate eNation, most would have liked that to happen.
The nation often unites in euphoria after grabbing enemy leaders like Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein. Which of these past or current leaders should the U.S. have made its top target to seize?
Germany's Adolf Hitler 49%
Libya's Muammar Qadhafi 23%
North Korea's Kim Jong Il 15%
Cuba's Fidel Castro 8%
North Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh 5%
