Pollster John Zogby updates our weekly Obama Report Card with a grade on the president's performance. Zogby uses his polling, expert analysis, and interaction with major players to come up with a grade and some comments that capture how he sees the president's week ending.
John Zogby on Week: 114
"The president is getting criticism from both his own party and Republicans for our military actions in Libya. None of that will matter if (a big if) Qadhafi is gone in a week and there is an exit strategy. There are problems with how the NATO coalition will carry through the operation with diminished U.S. involvement, but this had to be put together far more quickly than most previous military operations. Our polling shows support for the no-fly zone, so for now Obama will not suffer politically for his policy. He has been in Latin America to renew commitments there, but this trip and its importance have been overshadowed by the violence in Libya."
