I think Obama has handled the events around Libya and unions just right.

The duty of the President is not to regulate state legislation, it is to be commander-in- chief. A national president should not regulate a state board of education. It is the governor's job to make sure that problem doesnt blow up in his face, like it has. Also a president should not control revolutionary movements in a totalitarian state such as Libya. After the government changes, which it will, he should create a strong bond to increase economic and political ties.

The sign of a true dictator is the ability to party in the midst of all the chaos he creates.
