NRA Calls out Michael Bloomberg for Gun Control Efforts

... and having to write another sympathy letter to the victim’s family. He doesn't want anybody's guns but only to return some degree of reasonable gun control to this great democracy. The murder rate due to handguns in the US is appalling and over ten times that of European and other western countries.

I agree with upholding the constitution but do not believe our founding fathers ever put ideology above common sense.

I suggest you try to consider the other side of this argument if you truly love America and its people.

Sincerely,

Prolife

Bloomberg can't pick and choose which amendments of the Bill of Rights he will recognize. According to absolutist interpretation, which he applied to Ground Zero Mosque, there is no such thing as "illegal guns" just as there is no illegal books, illegal houses of worship. This is what makes this country great. All NYC gun laws are unconstitutional and void.

I've read the remarks shown about this column, and with the exception of the guy claiming to be one of the gun show sellers, the posts are about accusing the National Rifle Association of being a criminal activity.

...it seems clear that notwithstanding the disclaimers to the contrary..." I am a lifelong hunter" .... or "I am a gun owner"......the posts have been made by Liberal shills with nothing to add but personal hate and prejudice against the only organization in America that works effectively to support one thing and one thing only.....the Constitutional Right of "The People" to keep and bear arms without infringement by the Government.....

and that is what drives the Liberal Left into a frenzy......the effectiveness of the National Rifle Association......

As a Life Member of that organization, I believe that without such support of Constitutional freedoms, America would quickly be corrupted into just another Euro-Socialist-Pseudo-Dictatorship where the citizens have no voice and have no hope of self-governance......just like the European Union is today.....

That is the vision of Mayor Bloomberg and like minded Liberals who cannot abide freedom, individual choice, and Constitutional Liberty.......to turn America into a wasteland without freedom, where the self-appointed "elites" rule from high above in their ivory towers and their multi-million dollar penthouses.......

I know this first hand by the way.

I say this because I WAS IN ONE OF THE VIDEOS. I was the one that said "I need to see your ID and write a bill of sale" making my sale perfectly legal.

Lets see what was left in the video to make me look bad and what was left out of the video.

1. In the news clip it made is sound like everyone of the sellers was doing a illegal sale (WRONG).

2. The video made everyone think that all the buyers said "I probably could not pass a background check" (WRONG)

3. The video does not show you a mexican looking gangbanger waiving a gun like a maniac but a young over 21 white male buying the gun.

4. The video does not show me ripping the gun from the gang banger looking investigator and him flying off to another booth.

5. The video does not show me calling the police at the show to follow this a hole because I felt he was trying to buy a gun illegally.

Lots more in the vid and not in the vid.

Bloomberg is going down and I have the letter from the DOJ to prove it.

Not only was it wrong all the counts were FELONY counts of buying guns for someone else (IE for the mayor)

I am a gun owner and I despise the NRA. They are not protecting my gun rights but jeopardizing them by pushing for easy access and no accountability. They were against background checks and waiting periods. Don't beleive the lie.

... hence we have more crime and gun violence than any other Western industrialized country.

The NRA is the biggest supporter of the drug gangs in Mexico. The drug gangs send illicit drugs up over the US Mexico border, while the gun dealers fed the drug wars by sending illicit guns south across the border. If you think there is a big problem of crime coming up from Mexico thank the NRA.

This organization has been promoting guns only criminals adore, and then they turn around to tell the US public to arm up to defend ourselves against the same crooks the NRA is arming. This is point to promoting the gun manufacturing industry here, sure but if your plan is to create a market of your product is by promoting violent gun crime -then something is wrong and evil about your business plan.

The NRA is promoting crime while representing gun manufacturers, but gun manufacturers are part of the problem.

Its disgusting but the NRA is the crime lobby in this country and they are the problem. Just last month weren't they defending political assassination as a gun right.

Crime could have no better friends. Between the NRA promoting gun proliferation and the Republicans trying to cut law enforcement budgets (and attacking police unions as the biggest problem in this country). Bloomberg is representing law and order against the NRA who represents crime and criminal rights. Which is better for Americans.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a life long hunter, but the NRA has nothing to do with hunting and the NRA does not represent hunters.

The NRA are like Mafia Hitmen; and Bloomberg our Elliot Ness!

THE PEAK/END OF THE OIL AGE!

"Reinforcing the leaked cables about Saudi Arabia's oil supply lower than publicly reported, only a year ago in March 2010, “The Peak of the Oil Age” was published in Energy Policy by Prof. Kjell Aleklett, Global Energy Systems, Uppsala University, Sweden, that concluded:

“... future growth in (worldwide) gross domestic product (GDP) must be dependent upon fuels other than oil if GDP is to continue as expected. This, in turn, defines the beginning of the end of the “Oil Age,” and society will have to seek other driving forces for future GDP growth. In all our projections, future oil production by 2030 will have decreased from present levels. The world appears most likely to have passed the peak of global oil production and to have entered the descent phase. If this is the case, then the world has reached the “Peak of the Oil Age.”

In light of the above, and what is going on in Egypt, there is a great need for public awareness on why there should be great emphasis placed upon investing and research into alternative energies and fuel. It is in our National Interest & Safety that we do so! We can not afford to let certain Political Parties and persuasions hold progress back.

Ask Mayor Bloomberg how many times he travels without armed guards along side. It’s easy for him to travel around the country and point fingers at self manipulated situations designed for propaganda purchased by tax dollars of the Big Apple. Individual freedoms are meaningless to him because his every move is catered to by someone else. Words quoted by others in printed in favor of his anti-gun antics are propagated, designed and paid for in advance. He is truly agenda driven and manipulating others with deceit isn't a problem. His tactics are borderline legal. Only fighting back will stop him.

The majority of this country doesn't not support the draconian gun laws that are present in liberal NY. Support for gun control is at an all-time low and still dropping. CCW permit laws have proved over and over again that guns in the hands of law abiding citizens equals less crime.

Just stay in NY and worry about you own laws, quit trying to force your views on the rest of the country.
