Hillary Fans Want Gillibrand for President

There's no doubt that Obama will be stupid if he replaced Biden with Gillibrand ! Biden is an experienced, respectable and smart (MAN) while Gillibrand is before everything a (WOMAN) and a woman cannot be a president because they lack firmness and subject to the influence of others and usually fail to take independent, crucial decisions.. In addition, Gillibrand is a hypocrite who changed her attitudes when she became a Senator and all the things she is doing now are considered to be a part of a promotion campaign for herself as a possible president! Basically, she doesn't believe in any of her pronounced opinions. However, she is not gonna win the presidency and won't be choosen for Vice Presidency and I think that there's no a wise human being will cast his/her vote for her.

I have been following Gillibrand for some time now. She definitely has a sharp command of the issues, and also gives intelligent reasoning behind her positions. For example, many Senators want us to pull out of Afghanistan, using the blanket reason "we've been there too long." Senator Gillibrand offers a far more logical reasoning: that Al Qaeda is a diffused operation throughout the world, and focusing the majority of our resources on fighting Al Qaeda in Afghanistan may seriously jeopardize our national security.

Thanks for the article and all the comments about Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand being vice presidential or presidential material. I needed a good chuckle this morning. As a Republican in New York, I need all the chuckles I can get.
Sen. Gillibrand is an opportunistic lightweight who is led around by the nose by Sen. Chuck Schumer. As a congresswoman, she was moderate on Second Amendment issues, same-sex marriage, and some fiscal questions. When she was appointed senator by Gov. David Paterson (who she later threw under the bus), her positions changed overnight! It was truly amazing!! Did the senator have a leftist epiphany of some sort? Or does she simply adjust her views as necessary to feather her own nest and further her career?!?!
Memo to the Democratic Party: PLEEEEEEEEEEASE nominate Senator Gillibrand for President someday. We would have a field day with her. And another thing: Make sure she runs during a year that her Senate seat is up for re-election so that we won't be stuck with her as our senator anymore after she loses. If not Senator Gillibrand, here are some other names that I'd love to see on the Democratic side of the ticket: Vice President Joe "The Gaffe" Biden, non-biodegradable former Speaker of the House Nancy "San Fran Nan" Pelosi, Illinois Gov. Pat "The Taxman" Quinn, HHS Secretary Kathleen "The Angel of Death" Sebelius, Homeland Security Secretary Janet "The System Worked" Napolitano, Mass. Gov. Deval "I Didn't Do It" Patrick, former Vermont Gov. Howard "The Rebel Yell" Dean (maybe those yells will catch on with voters the second time around!!), New York Sen. Chuck "Don't Get Between Me and the Camera" Schumer, R.I. Senator Sheldon "Tea Partiers Are No Better than the K.K.K." Whitehouse, Minn. Senator Al "I'm Good Enough, I'm Smart Enough, and Doggone It, People Like Me" Franken, and any other Democratic member of the U.S. Senate.
Memo no. 2 to the Democratic Party: You've got a really thin bench. Secretary of State Clinton is your best candidate for the presidency in 2016; contrary to this article, I don't believe for one moment that she is not planning to run. (In fact, I don't believe a single word that comes out of Clinton's mouth. I also believe that Secretary Clinton is the most ambitious person in the history of mankind, with the possible exception of fictional character Lady Macbeth.) You had better hope Secretary Clinton runs in 2016, because if she doesn't, you're in big trouble. Former Senator Evan Bayh of Indiana--who would be a formidable presidential candidate--may possibly have been driven away from politics permanently due to the shenanigans that have been happening in D.C. recently (most of which are the fault of his own party). Govs. Andrew Cuomo of New York and Martin O'Malley of Maryland have some possibilities. Otherwise, you've got nobody that even worries me slightly.

Ebbs, I have been expressing my thoughts (hopes) similar to yours. Should V.P. Biden decide to retire, Kirsten is chosen to run as obama's V.P.. Ergo, 2016, Kirsten will be our first woman President. It is indisputable, Kirsten is absolutely brilliant, softly persuasive, charismatic. She will ease the harshness and shrill that seems to be so divisive in today's rhetoric.

Gillibrand is an extremely bright & personable woman, with a great command of the issues, and a real commitment to putting the PEOPLE before the Corporate interests.
The Repub/Tea party will of course attack her with meaningless ad hominems such as "Betty Boop", and they will call her a Socilist, Commie, they may even question her birth certificate. But they CANNOT actually show how the Repubs represent the interests of average Americans, with the Repubs in bed with Corporate Billionaires on EVERY issue.

Might make more people be forward looking and think that there is a big future ahead for the country and the human race. Getting over the recession and the deficit will take more than a couple of years. Also the wasteful Middle East conflicts, also the antagonism with many countries, etc.
Imagine her and Gabrielle Giffords as future presidents and mainstream leaders of America. Just over the horizon.

She has a woman's voice, which -- in case you're not in the habit of listening to women -- would naturally be higher than a man's voice. I'd say that people who vote on the basis of what somebody's voice sounds like probably should be kept away from the polls.
