Clinton, Feingold Unlikely to Challenge Obama in 2012

The rumored cast of potential Democratic challengers to Obama in 2012 is quickly fading. Associates say that recently defeated Wisconsin Sen. Russ Feingold isn’t likely to take on the president in a Democratic primary, and others like ex-Democratic Party boss Howard Dean and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have publicly bowed out. That doesn’t mean a competitor won’t appear, but if it does, says Democratic pollster Peter Hart, it will be from somebody upset with Obama’s war policy. “If the challenge is going to come,” he says, “I think it will come [over] Afghanistan.”

Yes Obama has expanded the deployment in Iraq, he said he would not. He has started wars in Yemen and involved US in Libya militarily. The latter to topple a bad dictator but no vetting of the new government that appears to want to set up a Sharia / islamic democracy (think Iran) . On the States side, the unemployment rate is doubled that of last admin. The overspending is at a $ 4 Trillion for 2 years vs the past admin spending that amount over 8 years. Someone asked - "Do you think you are better off now or 4 years ago ?"
