Pollster John Zogby updates our weekly Obama Report Card with a grade on the president's performance. Zogby uses his polling, expert analysis, and interaction with major players to come up with a grade and some comments that capture how he sees the president's week ending.

John Zogby on Week: 99

"President Obama made a tax deal that involved the kind of compromise and leadership that left no one completely satisfied and liberals angry. But in the end he will get credit for compromise, for his ability to provide relief to millions of unemployed facing disaster, and for defining the remainder of his term. He vigorously defended his compromise, his successes as president, and showed why he is a tough competitor. The holiday season is upon us and WikiLeaks mastermind Julian Assange is in a holding cell."

This week's grade: C+

Last week's: D
