What a buffoon. Single handedly destroyed the oil and gas industry in the state. Then had to recant because tax revenues went to $0.

One more prisoner who got away.

A "gentleman rancher"? How hilarious and don't you believe it! We New Mexicans know that Bill Richardson has been taking care of Bill Richardson during the last 8 years. Trust us, Bill Richardson has already lined up some sweetheart deal for himself when he exits as our Governor on Dec. 31st. Watch for him to take a high paying job in the "movie industry" that we have paid through the nose to "court" here in New Mexico, an Ambassador position, or the latest gossip, the "oil industry." Meanwhile back here in New Mexico, we are hoping Bill Richardson's next stop is a federal prison cell. Whisper, whisper!

somebody please tell me one thing of note, with any substance, this man ever did for NM or the USA. skip the soaring platitudes of his "proactive force". how's the NM state budget shaping up this year?

Governor Richardson has been a proactive force for the good of New Mexico, and in some ways the whole country. To loose his skills in government, conservation, diplomacy, and preparing for a healthy future , is to loose an enormous talent. I hope he reconsiders his retirement.

Bill,Hope you enjoy your Ranching life! Make sure the Federal government doesn't make your Ranchland into a Federal Wilderness area. You will not be allowed to use your vehicle(pick-up truck) to mend your fences and count your cattle.
