Group Wants Hillary Clinton for President in 2012

I supported Hillary Clinton as a presidential candidate in 2008 and will support her again, preferably in 2012 rather than in 2016. In future elections, my hope is that we as a nation will not tolerate the blatant sexism and hostility toward any woman running for president that Clinton endured in 2008. I remain stunned at inappropriate remarks that were made by political pundits and members of the press specifically toward her as a woman, the kind of remarks that would not have been tolerated or ignored had they been directed toward a candidate's race, religion, or ethnicity. I continue to wonder if Hillary Clinton lost the 2008 democratic nomination at least in part because sexist messages from the press touched a deeply rooted fear and prejudice against women that we have yet to overcome in this country.
