Jake's got it right. The more folks come to understand about this Panlin protege, the more they dislike him.

He move to Alaska and took out an idigent sports license. He hadn't been a resident the requisite period in Alaska. He wasn't impoverished, but he did it anyway. This guy smells of hypocrite and for you teabaggers - Alaska voters don't cotton to outsiders influencing our elections.

Miller took a whopping 6 dollars an acre for his 160 acre farm or less than 7 k.

Murkowski tried to get a no bid, non competitive contract from the US Government to the tune of 500,000,000 for an Alaska Native for profit Corporation.

You do the math

Ever wonder why Sarah Palin and the “Tea Party” did not support an Alaska woman, Lisa Murkowski, for re-election to the US Senate?

They’re political enemies:

2002 - US Senator Frank Murkowski resigned to become Alaska Governor.

2002 – Gov. Frank Murkowski appointed his daughter, Lisa Murkowski, to be US Senator and serve out his term.

2004 – Alaska US Senator Lisa Murkowski elected to US Senate by popular vote.

2006 – Alaska Governor Frank Murkowski lost election to Mayor Sarah Palin.

2009 – Alaska Governor Sarah Palin resigned to run for Republican Vice-president.

2010 - Alaska US Senator Lisa Murkowski lost Republican primary election, now conducting a write-in campaign.

Summary -- Palin defeated Frank Murkowski to become Alaska Governor, and in 2010 supported Lisa Murkowski's opponent Joe Miller to defeat her in the Alaskan Republican Primary.

I believe Sarah Palin would have supported a purple polar bear if he would run against Lisa Murkowski. No offense intended, Mr. Miller.

FYI, Bill Egan and Jay Hammond were governors when I lived in Alaska.

Miller has sold out well even before he's won anything.

Don't count you chickens before the eggs are laid.

This hypocrite was collecting fed money for big family farms, pleading poverty to get his hunting license and now he's measuring his drapes and shopping DC real estate - maybe with the down payment from the lobbyists who have got him to sell his soul.

At least Miller can rest easy on the millions in campaign contributions he's getting for being the poser that he is. Like O'Donnell, Miller can live off his campaign chest for years to come and all he had to do was fake the silly tea party chicken dance.

Miller is as phony as Palin and I'm glad Murkowski is fight back.

Guess what, I can spell her name, too.

when it was for him a few years ago. Oh yeah - what a paragon of virtue and anti-government leadership!

This guy is so bogus. Just another lawyer going to Washington?

Yeah Alaska needs to wake up all right! We need to wake up to the fact our economy is largely based on the FEDERAL dollar! When this economy goes down (and it is sure too, we are 13 TRILLION in debt) Alaska will be in some terrible straights. Joe stands for developement of natural resouces and the weaning of this state off of tons of federal dollars that props this state up and prevents us from growing the way that our CONSTITUTION intended. Vote for Joe Miller and less government!

Nathan Minnema of AK 9:44PM September 30, 2010

And they get 2 votes in the Senate -

Miller is a farce and an opportunist. He has no commitment to any of the things he is running on.

I hope they pass term limits and he gets to stay only two terms - with no retirement. That would blow his big plans to be rich and famous out of the water.

Murkowski would be a much better candidate. Do Alaskans really want to support Palin's vendetta against Murkowski to support the person who quit as their governor?

Wake up Alaska!!!!

The "transition"? You haven't been elected yet. Try to keep that in mind the next time you have an urge to Tweet about how you're going to decorate your Senate office.
