She may not win. She's been "Quayled". Liberal media and comedians have made lived off of making fun of her. Imagine if they did that to Biden. He has made oh let's see, 1000 times more gaffs than Palin. But then making fun of Dems isn't funny is it?
She's a good woman. She's been an effective leader. But we'd rather have a community agitator with no experience, who surrounds himself with Marxists and socialists and says he's a centrist. Yeah right.

Oh come on. You don't think Obama is doing all of this for himself? He's going to let the Dem candidates lose lots of seats and he'll just sit by and blame republicans for any problems. Thus a great excuse to get re-elected. He doesn't care about his party or America. Take it to the bank.

The winning Republican candidate hasn't even surfaced yet. It's none of the above. Palin is the right's equivalent of Obama. Obama is a great campaigner, but a horrible pesident. Palin has significantly more experience as a leader and an actual manager, so she would automatically be substantially better than Obama (who had less leadership experience than most of you reading this, including students), but she's much more powerful FOR NOW in the role of a campaigner and political activist.
Palin's Presidency WILL happen. But not yet. She's got a lifetime of success ahead of her. Right now, her power isn't in the presidency. She's DOING what she knows she should be doing, rallying the insurgency of independent conservatives. It's why she left the governorship.
The next president will have to be charismatic and bold enough to make the tough choices: shutting down or reducing a LOT of the entitlements and government departments and agencies, and eliminating a lot of the regulatory agencies, in order to re-ignite the US economy and deliver on what the public wants. Unfortunately, we're still a sexist society, and the public is going to be more confident with a man doing that than a woman (even though a woman would be considerably bolder and tougher).
Being a Democrat is already a dirty word. That why none of them are using it this season. Just wait until the next one. In Germany, they despise the term Nazi so much that it's virtually illegal to mention it or have anything representing that legacy. Within 10 years, it will be the same way about the term Democrat in America, because of lot of the policies enacted by this Congress and President will come back to haunt us for decades.
And when they start getting their programs and policies cut and shut down, they will be violent. Unlike those on the right, the left has a much lower threshold for getting violent. That will only make the public turn on them more.
Democrats made the mistake of over-playing Barack Obama's win. They came out of the closet as proud socialists and they recklessly spent the next 3 generations money. They unwittingly triggered a revolution -- a peaceful one via the ballot box, but every bit as powerful as an armed conflict. And they can never go back to pretending to care about America or Americans.
If Palin is smart, and she's much smarter than the left gives her credit, she will continue to be a leader in this revolution but allow a fellow leader to take on the job as president in 2012. Her time will come, but she is more of a Jefferson or Madison than a Washington or Adams.
I wouldn't want to be a Democrat though. Thanks to the arrogance of Obama, Pelosi and Reid, they have become the most reviled people in the history of the United States. As evidence, you only need to look at their own campaign posters.

N.S.F. with the Go Sarah Go speach. It's early and others may surprise and enter the political field. The bottom line is we need a strong two party system with two trustworthy, able and qualified candidates from the R's and the D's. (That's what best) We also need to hear a clear and detailed debate and not a cheap bumper sticker exchange full of empty red meat and platitudes. Your thoughts? PJH

I hope Republicans arent really THAT stupid. On one hand it would be a shoe-in for Obama to win again which would make me happy. But on the other hand knowing there are THAT many idiots out there who think Sarah Palin does anything for anyone other than herself and her fame scares me.
