Talk Starts Of Boehner For President

Generosity knows no boundaries given the substantive claims of Yoo and his advice to President Bush which helped to legitimize the "unitary Presidency" and President Obama has definitely benefited from the premise.

Debating America according to Yoo, therefore, is a perfect entry into the 2012 Presidency which might begin with a prosecution of the much buried law on treason that hasn't been tested since the Rosenbergs so that most are unaware of it.

Bush, himself, offered such an entre for debate in his "declaration that the Constitution had no significance because it was just a piece of paper." The thing begs to be tried by public debate since it effectively cancels the U.S. and the Bill of Rights altogether, as well as to cancel all law, the Supreme Court, and the power of Contract. A unitary President is a dictator, friendly or not, and the decision to ignore Bush and Yoo cannot aid the U.S. as a nation, nor uphold citizenship rights within the meaning of the Constitution - if there is still one. It is only by recognition of powers that they have meaning, and ignoring them allows an "anything goes" attitude whereby the Constitution and everything it stands for is irrelevant. That the Supreme Court would allow this encroachment upon its powers to interpret the Constitution is amazing but goes to the essence of whether the Constitution is recognized, effective, or irrelevant - and only what people do is the material thing of government.

So challenging Yoo to determine whether we, you, or anyone else has sovereignty over the world according to Yoo is of supreme importance.

When Boehner said "...not just NO, but HELL NO!" he won my vote.

I would change Mitt's odds -- he doesn't have a change in heck to win. That boy is one walking scandal.

You think Mike Huckabee is a "pawn of the wealthy elite"? How much of the "wealthy elite" are backing Sarah Palin?

Anyway, the rich (those with incomes over $250,000) voted for Obama. Today's Democrats are a coalition of the fashionable elite and the underclass ganging up on blue collar workers and the middle class.

Obama lama ding dong is going to get his ass handed to him for the next 2 years, he has gone completely radical. Face it, he cant even unite his own party. He wont be able to barter with the GOP as Clinton did after the 1994 takeover. He burned all those bridges with his abrupt blame GOP game. GOP is going to relentlessly scrutinize and attack him until he is gone. I believe this is going to be an exact repeat of the idiotic Carter mistake of the late 70's. Guess who's turn it is now! Dem's are now asking him not to speak on behalf them, guess he's not liked so much anymore. All his buddies are getting the boot and he's got no support left. Either way, GOP is the only realistic solution to the problem of oversized government and idiotic economic policies. Conservatives such as Romney and Huckabee are our only chance to combat radical Commies that hold the power today. Guess your going to have to find a job Michael of CA. Looks like cash for idiots is coming to an end. Your going to have to eat somehow

There isn't a single leading Republican who isn't a scumbag, Face it, the GOP are just the pawns of the wealthy elite in this country. If you are going to vote Republican, start bending over now.

Boehner's basically OK, but one thing he'd be zinged for is handing out tobacco lobbyist money on the House floor.

I think Romney's the guy.

Conservative in all three areas: social, economic, and national security, so he can unite the party. But without being a kook who will scare off swing voters: he's reasonable and reassuring.

Calm, confident, and competent, a disciplined campaigner who's extremely smart, well-informed, been on the trail before, and is unlikely to embarrass the party with gaffes and goof-ups. National-level enemies have tried to dig up dirt already on him and come up with nothing - he's a known quantity, a straight arrow, squeaky clean family man with not a hint of personal or financial scandal.

The country is crying out for someone who has a clue about handling finances and budgets. Romney is an extremely successful businessman who has created thousands of jobs and major companies through his own actions working in the real world of paychecks and balance sheets. He's grown companies from nothing and made many others wealthy through his advice. He's turned around multiple institutions facing financial disaster through sound management. We could use a turnaound pro like that.

The only knock on him is that he became more conservative on abortion etc. from a less conservative past, but so did Bush Sr. ("pro-choice" until the day he was picked as veep in 1980) and even Reagan himself (signed an abortion legalization law in CA), so that's a pretty weak argument.

Others might complain about his health care reform in MA, but the key is that was done at the state level, and Romney supports letting states lead the way in health care. If your state disagrees with his approach, he won't ram it down your throat. The US Constitution doesn't let the federal government require you to buy anything, but states can do anything they're not forbidden to do. And the mandate he put in place was a reasonable approach to the "free rider" problem of young adults not buying insurance but then getting hurt or sick and showing up at the ER costing taxpayers zillions. MA said that in future the young and healthy will have to be responsible and buy private insurance, or pay a fee to help cover taxpayer costs when some of them show up in the ER. Remember that when some yahoo starts screaming about "socialism" and "tyranny", Romney was really advancing personal responsibility and ending the free ride.

If you want to learn more about him, he's written a smart, solid, meaty book about policy issues and the problems we face (rather than about personal drama and score-settling).

He looks, sounds, and acts like a dignified statesman. A patriot, a proven leader we can be proud of, a competent and reliable conservative who will save our country from bankruptcy, defend traditional values, and stand up for us in the world. Our next president, Mitt Romney.
