His great love is not likely a reliable source. If Joe Kennedy hadn't made a lot of money in booze and bought respectability, we'd probably recognize the Kennedy family for what they were--trailer trash.

Let's not try to cover up the pooh for the sake of his legacy. It will still stink even if it is covered up. It was what it was and it is what it is. Forget him. Move on.

He had been drinking he left the scene and the lawyers go to work. Only the rich any person of less fortune would have at least been charged. Of course it had nothing to do with his name or hi brother Attourney General or brother President.

Get serious he should have been convicted of vehicular manslauter at a minimum. Leaving the scene. Reckless driving not one conviction walking around with a neck brace looks good for the media.

No matter how much good he did he should never had been allowed a security clearance after an incedent of this magnitude.

The concussion was mentioned in the news stories at the time, but the media, who the year before had interviewed neurologists about the damage Sirhan's bullet had done to Robert Kennedy, and who would later interview oncologists to tell us more about Ronald Reagan's colon cancer than we really wanted to know--at least from papers read during breakfast!--merely scoffed at this diagnosis. One reporter said compared thd concussion to a kid bumping his head falling off his bike. Kids have died from such things. One of my friends straightened up too soon while putting things in the car and bumped his head on the cartop. We've all done it, right? He died two weeks later from bleeding in the brain. How many people have died from concussions in the last 40 years who might not if their friends had read stories at the time about the damage a concussion can do?

No one scoffed and dismissed the diagnosis of Kennedy's brain tumor--what made the difference?

If I use Hersh's work in my garden will my roses blow up?

DVL of NY 7:48AM September 03, 2010

Hey ya know what Hersh? While you're careening down the road of historical revision, Teddy's clean up crew could have fixed it so that it looked like Mary Jo was all by herself that night...or better yet that her body was never found. That way, the drunken philandering lout could have claimed he just slipped in the bath tub.

Jackass.

Even in death, there's always a Kennedy apologist crawling out of the woodwork.

File this one under, "When Berton Hersh talks sh!t, Whispers listens."

If you could know shame, you would be ashamed.

The left may not have a monopoly on Cover Your Butt BS; but it sure seems that way! They can rewrite history from the grave. How wierd is that?
