Gingrich Book Aligns With Tea Party Pitch

August 20, 2010 RSS Feed Print

If former House Speaker Newt Gingrich does jump into the 2012 GOP primary, as some of his friends suggest, his new book, Valley Forge, and the planned November release could be key.

Indications are that Gingrich, with coauthor William Forstchen, who together have penned seven books, will hit the road post-midterm Election Day to promote the book and its message, which aligns nicely with the Tea Party pitch. They write: "It is our hope that this story of freedom emerging from difficult times will inspire our generation to do our duty to protect the rule of law and reassert the classic provisions of American liberty."
