Pollster John Zogby updates our weekly Obama Report Card with a grade on the president's performance. Zogby uses his polling, expert analysis, and interaction with major players to come up with a grade and some comments that capture how he see's the president's week ending.
John Zogby on Week 80:
"One leak (the Gulf spill) may be closing, but another just as nasty (the Afghanistan war WikiLeaks) opens up. And, characteristically, the new one is as complicated and potentially as damaging as the other. Is President Obama channeling the Biblical Job facing one catastrophe after another? The good news for Obama is that the Afghan war appropriations bill passed, but that may be the bad news as well, as 102 Democrats opposed it; and leaks or not, the war on the ground is not going well."
