It's time to take back our country. "Dump the Dems" (Dirty Harry etc in '10, Barry & his Czars in '12), and elect Mitt to help us get out of this socialist mess.

"Americans don't have selective memory," Obama told NBC News recently. “They'll remember the policies that got us into this mess as well."

Let’s help them remember the Democrats' Community Reinvestment Act which forced banks to make loans people like then HUD Sect Andrew Cuomo knew would end up in default. A liberal Congress handed the financial industry lemons...and it made toxic (asset) lemonade. While Frank-n-Dodd's financial reforms leaves Fannie and Freddie unrepentant. Heck of a job Barry.

Remember the day...January 3rd, 2007 was the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress. At the time: The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77. The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%. The Unemployment rate was 4.6%. George Bush's Economic policies SET A RECORD of 52 STRAIGHT MONTHS of JOB CREATION!

Remember the day...January 3rd, 2007 was the day that Barney Frank took over the House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking Committee. The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of the economy? BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES!!!

THANK YOU DEMOCRATS for taking us from 13,000 DOW, 3.5 GDP and 4.6% Unemployment... to this CRISIS by (among MANY other things) dumping 5-6 TRILLION Dollars of toxic loans on the economy from YOUR Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac! (BTW: Bush asked Congress 17 TIMES to stop Fannie & Freddie - starting in 2001 because it was Financially risky for the US economy):

And who took the THIRD highest pay-off from Fannie Mae AND Freddie Mac???? OBAMA. And who fought against reform of Fannie and Freddie??? The HYPOCRITE in Chief Obama

So when a LIB tries to blame Bush...REMEMBER JANUARY 3rd, 2007.... THE DAY THE DEMOCRATS TOOK OVER!

Obama acts like a frat boy and is a joke! Once Romney "the 45th Pres" is in the Oval Office ALL Americans will be proud of their country again. We must elect conservatives in '10, so President Romney can have a Congress to help him turn this country around in '12.

Our nation elected a man who's entire work experience has been as a lawyer or as a politician constantly running for higher office. He's been successful at those two gigs, but a problem solver he is definitely not. Lawyers specialize in placing blame and demanding recompense. Politicians are in constant campaign mode. Obama's whole presidency so far can be summed up as playing the blame game and a "perpetual campaign mode"

Contrast that to Romney who is a much better leader/executive/manager than he is a campaigner/politician. He should be in there right now. I thought he was hands down the best candidate the GOP had to offer last cycle, but I'm not sure anyone could have derailed the "Hope for Change" express in those years of Bush Fatigue. I guess sometimes things happen for a reason, and the best man didn't win last time. Just as it took a Jimmy Carter to give us a Ronald Reagan, it's going to take Barack Obama to give us Mitt Romney. If the GOP base will wise up and select the best man able to #1 beat Obama and #2 actually govern and fix the problems then we'll all be the better for it. However, I fear instead a quixotal quest of nominating the most idealogically/religiously acceptable candidate to the far right of the party and losing the ability to to both.

Obama and Romney - virtually a tie half way into Obama's presidency. And Romney hasn't announced that he'll run.

Hey, I just pulled that Title out of thin air, just like the Zogby poll and the author's depiction of Obama's tie with Romney as a whipping. (Oh, if only 20% of American journalists adhered to such a credo as the title.)

Anyway, the fact that Obama is within margin of error against Romney in a poll like this one --a recess poll, a cartoon poll, a college kid poll-- is verrrry bad news for Obe. But, I think he know's he has no shot at reelection as long as Republicans nominate properly and he's unable to grant amnesty to 12M new democrat voters.

Not to worry, amnesty isn't getting done this year and so it won't anytime in the remainder of his first and only term as the Republicans will deliver the Balance American wants to counter all this Change. Romney will sail to the nomination, and defeat Obama by about 5 points, despite Mike Huckabee's incessant reminders and questions about the mormon faith.

FACTOID: Did you know that Obama staffers have a name for Mitt Romney that they've used for him ever since Obama was elected? Any guesses? (Scroll down for answer)

The 45th President.

No joke. Not made up. Look it up. So, if Obama's team recognizes that Romney really ought to be President in these times and was denied by a fluke of a crowded field/republican fatigue post-Bush, then that'd explain not just the nickname, but their rapid fleecing of the nation since they realized then that there's only a brief window to exploit the system (Change) before actual reform put government waste, fraud and abuse in its place.

I'll vote for Romney any day of the week. Based on the many failures we have and are experiencing, we need some one who knows management.

Newt 2012

The most qualified person forthe office from any party.

Far better than this empty suit that currently holds the office.

Let's assume that Zogby Interactive is accurate (his methodology has been called into question by many other polling firms), does the author really stand by his statement that: "the president would WHIP all "big name" Republicans" when the data clearly shows him in a statistical tie with Mitt Romney?

Or is he saying that Mitt Romney is not a "big name Republican.

Either way it is pretty shoddy writing for a professional columnist.

I'd also like to point out that another poll released just days ago showed Obama losing to Huckabee, Romney, Gingrich etc, and in a flat-footed tie with Sarah Palin.

I'd have to go with that other poll considering the RCP averages of "Right Track/WrongTrack" and Obama's Approval Rating and the "Outside Washington" whispers that I hear in the real world everyday.

Nice try though. Say hi for me to your buddies at Journolist.
