Pollster John Zogby updates our weekly Obama Report Card with a grade on the president's performance. Zogby uses his polling, expert analysis, and interaction with major players to come up with a grade and some comments that capture how he sees the president's week ending.

John Zogby on Week 78:

National pollster John Zogby gives President Obama a grade of C for week 78 of his presidency."In the past week, the president has made it easier for 400,000 war vets suffering from PTSD to file claims. On other hand, the economy still sputters and it is taking a toll on Obama's popularity. His chief spokesman admits that the Democratic majority in the House may be lost. Doth the White House protest too much? For today, losing the House is a possibility, but these smart campaigners may also be trying to reduce expectations among the political class, as well as trying to scare up action among Democratic voters."

Grade: C

Last week's: C
