Conservatives Warm to Gingrich for President in 2012

Gingrich feels the difference between socialism and freedom down to his core. His teleprompter is inside his head. And with this, he can match Obama's words and overmatch his intellect.

If he should decide to run, "for the first time in my life" I will volunteer to work on a political campaign, his. We need this man if we want to get out of this mess that Obama has created.

I was senior staff in the House of Reps when Newt was speaker. He would show up to senior staff meetings and lecture us on working harder, negotiating longer, and implementing a conservative imprint on the government. He then left his office to have sex with a staff member of the House Agriculture Committee behind the back of his wife. When Newt has his opportunity he wasted it for adulturous sex. He does not deserve another chance.

Love Newt.....I am very excited to see him run!!!!! He is the best prepaed and best person for the job. Newt will set the country back on track. Worried about personal issues? Meanwhile Clinton was shovin cigars you know where with you know who and was loved. Who cares about any of that....its about whatthis man can bring to the table....and he brings vast experience, knowledge, brains, and know-how!!!Wait till he crushes Obummer in debate!!!!

Whether or not he actually expects to win (or run, for that matter), making this announcement works well for his book promotion. Even if he ran and lost, he'd still have had his time on stage to spread his message and promote his book. However, it is looking like he has a good chance to follow through, since even the skeptics admit he'll probably follow through (cf. http://www.newsy.com/videos/newt-gingrich-seriously-considering-presidential-run/ for a handful of sources across the board). And I don't think he'd have trouble beating Palin. Romney, though, will be a tougher opponent, in my opinion.

He is too much the centrist who believes that compromise is the answer. No he won't be the conservatives pick. You need someone who stands up for the Constitution and not just the GOP. Time and again his colors have shown him to be an "insider" of the beltway and TEA members wont have him. His pick in Kentucky for the senate race is an indication of his influence.

AND he's dead!

Given the damage done in the past 1.5 years (and before), The USA needs someone with EXPERIENCE to take a LEADERSHIP position consistant with AMERICAN beliefs.

Cramming the whole "Family Values" approach would be a HUGE mistake but if Newt were to stick to REAL ISSUES, he has a very good idea of where we should be heading.

Hard core REAL Republicans don't believe the "Family Values" or "Christian Right" approach anyway...REAL Republicans believe your life is your own and FAR more important than what Washington DC wants to tell you.

I personally would LOVE to see Condi Rice as a running mate and I don't really care who's in the lead position.

Condi Rice with Newt as Vice for experienced backup would be VERY tough to beat!

The GOP is now so fragmented that the only viable candidate they can offer is a nostalgic retro has-been. Sure, throw Newt into the ring.

He needs to lose once more.

Newt Gingrich is a true conservative and believes in the abilities of the American people not the Federal government.

It is time we Americans got past the petty personal issue that we know nothing about and look for the people that are the most qualified to do the job. I have hired a number of people that if I had only gone by what they looked like or what they may have done in the past then, I would have surely missed out on a lot of talented people that helped me in my success.

Knowledge and work ethic, show me someone more qualified.

Newt for President 2012, America needs you now more than ever.

There ya go....the libs AGAIN trying to dig up dirt on a republican. Am I the only one to see how hypocritical the liberals are? This man stands for a helluva lot more than ANY liberal in this country, and so what do the libs do? They try to discredit his abilities, interest in helping people, growing the economy, lowering taxes, etc. Regardless of what anyone says, this man has more integrity than all of congress put together.

Well, let's state that another way....uhhh.....well, er, ummm.....can't rephrase that. There is absolutely NO integrity in ANY liberal. I'll have to think what else to say. Time to vote the lib garbage out. Won't be difficult....the libs have put so many people out of work and are making sure many many more will be out of work in November based on the newer taxes coming, worsening economy, regulations. Libs....hope you've enjoyed your majority.
