First lady Michelle Obama's veggie garden isn't the only part of her portfolio that's expanding. Her fitness-focused "Let's Move" campaign for kids this week linked up with the President's Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition. And we hear she's helping to promote the National Gardening Association's effort to bring gardens to schools.
NGA President Mike Metallo, who helped kids plant artichokes in Obama's 400-square-foot garden addition in the spring, says the first lady "obviously appreciates what we've accomplished" in getting kids to garden.
