Since Obama took office The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has been an obstructionist instrument to whatever makes sense in supporting our economy. Even conservative commentator Lou Dobbs has gone on stating that what the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is doing to outsource jobs is unAmerican. One reason manufacturing, the bulwark of our economy back in the 50s, is practically nonexistent today, is the Chamber's outsourcing of job, and companies are still getting tax breaks to send jobs out of the country. It's a wonder more people are not slamming the Chamber of Commerce as an unAmerican institution. It's promoting trade with China without doing anything about their unfair currency practices.
