Napolitano Goes from Oil Spills to the Opera

I'm shocked that the media has not told us what glorious outfit this whale wore to the Opera. Clearly the media is falling down on reporting the really important things. But take heart! I have it on good authority that our Homegrown Terrorist Hunting Queen wore a flannel shirt, tucked neatly into a pair of Wrangler jeans, topped off with a brown belt and steel toed work boots. The left rear pocket of her jeans had a tastefully worn out area in the shape of a circle, caused from the imprint of several tobacco dip cans. She accessorized with a folding Gerber Tool, sheathed in a brown holster worn tightly on her belt on her right rear side.

She was stunning.

Please inform us of something Janet has done to deserve gratitude? Handling the Christmas Day bomber? The border? She jumped at the chance to dump that hot potato on the next governor, evidenced by her own letters begging for help from the feds. It is interesting that the original "man caused disaster" team can so blithely continue to blame Bush for a NATURAL disaster like Katrina, especially when the controlling Chocolate City Mayor Nagin and incompetent governor had to be ORDERED by Bush to evacuate the city, and yet weeks after the start of the spill, still do not have a plan. I heard Douglas Brinkley, Louisiana resident say on Imus that Obama is just "too polite" to say what needs to be said. Even apologists like that are seeing the "too smart" label is laughable.

Ho hum, someone who gives bureaucrats a bad name... inept, dumb and unmotivated. Oh right, she is a perfect member of the Aboma cabinet.

I think great that she has some time to enjoy life.

This is not a peasant nation or one of rulers and kings.

She is a person just like you. The bitterness has to stop.

Hello all, I've been going through a very sticky personal battle - an oil spill of my own, if you will. During this, I still do my job, garden, go for walks, watch the Simpsons, have a beer with friends after work. Do you drop all your own interests and focus solely on your problems when they arise? Something as epic as this demands both Napolitano's and the president's attention, yes, but the general expectation here seems they should be focused solely on this event. I cannot focus solely on my oil spill, it would be fruitless. That said, it is always hovering in my mind. I am quite sure the same is true for the two folks whom you are all so quick to judge. Like them or not, respect them or not, we must understand they are human as well and have the need to continue their lives and pursue their interests in the face of adversity.

I've never seen such an inept administration like this. The ability not to make decisions and lack of leadership is so apparent. You'd think that the President of the USA would bring all the might this nation has to bear and has been paying for to solve the problem of stopping the oil leak. How many ships to we have in our mothball fleet that can be sunk over the hole? How about a mile long 20ft diameter culvert pipe. Then fill it with a mile's worth of concrete from the bottom to the surface. We can go to the moon, fight and win world wars but a stinking hole in the ocean is about to kick our cans.

But I digress because we all know that the chosen elite are entitled to their elite perks while the country is falling apart. Nothing like going to the opera or playing golf while people lose their livelihood, illegals stream through our borders and certain laws are ignored or applied only for political motives.

At least Jimmy Carter made decisions, albeit mostly wrong. This president kicks the can down the street while the rest of us pay for his vacations.

What a repulsive gang of thieves these Obamazombies are. You could throw darts at phone book and come up with more qualified people then this inept bunch of fools.

Alfonso of GA 10:59AM May 29, 2010

That seems to be the attitude of this administration.

It's wonderful that Nepolitano is an opera aficionado. As Gershwin's "Porgy and Bess" is her favorite opera, I think it's apropos to ascribe a couple of songs from it to the Obama administration: "Summertime" {'and the livin' is easy....'}; "It Ain't Necessarily So." The livin' does seem easy for this administration who've alleged they've done "all they could from day one (with the Gulf oil spill disaster)." "It Ain't Necessarily So" fits their legalistic, implausible, Mumbo Jumbo account of explaining the Sestak affair.
