Palin Headed to NRA Convention

I was there on the front row of the NRA Friday, May 14th speech. She rocked the house with good humor, love of God & country, and what is at stake in our country's future!

She is better in real life than on the CNN video clips! I think conservatives can relate with her message, and liberals don't get it at all. Our country's leadership has gone off the deep end and are selling us a mess of garbage & huge amounts of debt!

I'm one proud American that is dang tired of the political deceit of our elected officals in congress and presidency. We all wanted change in the last election, but most thought is would be moderate. civil change. Woooo, the American voters were hood-winked with just slick talking!

We have what we deserve in Obama, Reid & Pelosi. We as a people gave these guys a open, VETO PROOF open check to do ANYTHING THEY WANT and they are really sticking it to us and our children and grandchildren. It is sad, sad indeed what we have allowed to happen to this great nation.

We vote with our wallets, not with out conscience and clear thinking head. BENEFITS, free benefits the people cry. We are borrowing ourselves to death. Our politicians are bankrupting our country! We are stealing from our children's future pockets! We are enslaving ourselves. AMERICA WAKE UP.

This nation is based on FREEDOM! Freedom of religion, speech, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Those founding principles as being eroded away almost daily. Our fore-bearers fought with their lives for this freedom that we take so much for granted. NEVER FORGET THAT.

Thanks God for the NRA. Thanks God for good people like Sarah Palin, Oliver North, Glen Beck, Shawn Hannity, etc. True PATRIOTS of our day. THANK YOU for being the Paul Revere of our day.

I'm motivated after attending this NRA Conference & Convention. Let's take this country back! The Reagan years was our finest hour. We as Americans, help proud to be Americans again. I for one want that to return. Get the government off our backs and out of our wallets and paychecks! Get out of our health care! Forget the bailouts!

We will only keep our freedom and a nation if we have the moral courage & guts to stand up to those who would try to take it away. We don't a Hitler, Stalin or King to bow to. Our Freedom's come from God as we are morally good, not from our government. PLEASE never forget that.

Thank you NRA! You did a great job of making this a memorable conference! Thank you Charlotte, NC for being a great host city.

Let's Take AMERICA, the AMERICA of our parents & generations past fought so hard for, back THIS NOVEMBER!!!

Sarah was great! So were the other speakers!! What a great experience. There was a lot of great conservative leadership there as well as a lot of great Americans in the audience.

I think Sarah should also conduct a seminar on how to field dress a Moose, or a duck. Show real Americans she is one of us. Forget about NYC and DC media. I voted for Sarah last time, not that milk toast McCain. And I believe she has leadership qualities. Let all the welfare liberals go down and clean up the Gulf. Better than sitting around and waiting for their drug dealer to make a home delivery!

So,yep you betcha this is one NRA Member who will gladly vote

for Sarah Palin for President in 2012 and could easily vote for

Michelle Bachmann for Vice President in 2012 as well..And,I also

agree fully with the late great NRA President Charlton Heston,

when he raised that old musket hihg in the air,and proclaimed

to all present,"Only from my cold dead hands you will!" And I do

hope Der Leader from Kenya Barack Hussein Obama and Comrade US

Attorney General and Chief Gun Grabber Eric Holder heard that

same message loud and clear as well. This Arizona Independent

Voter,non-tea bagger also Supports the Second Amendment as well.

Sarah Palin sure puts the fear of God in all the liberals and

all the Obamabot kool aid drinkers, and that can only mean we need to Elect Sarah Palin President in 2012! Take Back America!

With all the hoopla over Gov. Palin's "gun talk", does no one remember when, during the campaign, Obama said, "If you bring a knife, we'll bring a gun". Heard anything about that?

No hypocrisy there. Naaah. Just li(e)beral garbage.

I'm both surprised and encouraged that readers of this liberal magazine, in comments so far, have approved of Sarah and the NRA.

I'm a conservative, not a republican - a conservative, and I think Sarah's message is right on. I'm not sure about her as the president, although much better qualified than Bo, but she is gonna make a helluva stump speaker in the presidential campaign, similar to the effect Charlton Heston had during the Bush vs Gore campaign.

What is discouraging is that the liberals just don't get it. We're out of money folks, and with apologies to Tennessee Ernie, and we owe our souls to the Chinese.

What was actually on Sarah's site, was a map with district markers (surveyor symbols were used) and not

gunsight images .

When is someone going to take the LSM to task for wrongly calling surveyor's map symbols "crosshairs"?

This is a surveyor's symbol:

This is a cross-hair:

Governor Palin has been vocal about condemning violence.

Many times ( interviews, facebook, twitter) Governor Palin spoke out against violence.

The governor used Twitter and Facebook to encourage Americans to use their voting power to make a difference.

Only a fool would actually believe that's what she was doing. And only a liar would pretend.

"We are now the keepers of an honorable tradition of conservative values and good works. We must never forget that it is a sacred trust to carry these ideas forward. It demands civility and it requires decent, constructive, issue-oriented debate."--Sarah Palin.

The only thing "deplorable" about Sarah Palin using "gun imagery" (ie, "Don't retreat - reload") is the fact that so many ignorant hoplophobes consider it deplorable. The use of such gun related imagery is as american as apple pie; well, actually it is much MORE american than apple pie. We started as a nation of shooters, and the use of "gun imagery" is both very common and nationally apt. Have you never heard it said that someone was a "loose cannon," or a "straight shooter," or that people shouldn't "shoot from the hip," or been exhorted to keep your discussion "on target?" Can you thnk of an "apple pie" analogy? There is nothing inherently wrong with gun-imagery, so why the "deplorable" label? People who prefer cheesecake don't "deplore" using apple pie imagery, so why is it OK for anti-gun fanatics (yes, I used the word intentionally) to "deplore" gun imagery?

Oldshooter of TX 1:03PM May 04, 2010

Just think, maybe as many as 80,000 people who will want to hear what Palin has to say. On June 5th, the Women's Expo is expecting from 30-40,000 to listen to Palin. We need her more than ever.

BTW, it was the 0bama administration which approved BP's drilling plan, and had absolutely no idea what to do if there was an emergency. No wonder it took so long for 0bama to actually do anything, he was too busy trying to figure out how to shift the blame to someone else. This is his Katrina moment, and he failed big time.

gah of MN 7:28PM May 03, 2010

are you aware that the federal government did not have any booms available to burn off the oil... until just getting 1 now and ordering from around the world? when they had a spill emergency plan supposedly in place to do this immediately? useless federal government, who you, drill, obviously love. so go somewhere else to bitch about Palin. She is the only Republican with the "balls" to take on the socialist marxist idiots running the country.

And, just in case your tiny brain may have enough power to read the article, here is the url for you:
