It's not exactly Disneyland, but two former CIA directors are getting a nice retirement hat tip: A Caribbean cruise where they'll be guest speakers, wowing about 1,000 passengers on spycraft. It's called "SpyCruise," and it's going to be the biggest one of it's kind, says organizer and retired spook Bart Bechtel. That's because the November 13-20 cruise will feature former CIA directors Porter Goss and Michael Hayden, along with authors and other spy celebs who'll speak to the Holland America guests and then hobnob with them over dinner and drinks. "It's a very big deal. I consider it a coup," Bechtel says of getting the former directors onboard. "This is a great opportunity for those with a strong interest in espionage to share a voyage of discovery with shipmates who have lived the life of secrets," says one ex-spook, who prefers to remain below deck.

The BBC broadcast the results of this cruise (check the link). This is a good indicator of how the US securocrat industry is a recipe for endless war without boundaries.

The CIA has been found guilty of covertly doing many things that violate its charter and break international law & USA laws. Its members boast of their ability to intercept messages in all media. Most Americans heard stories of vast fortunes made when people with "insider information" bought or sold certain stocks. I wonder whether some people in the CIA could be using "insider information" for personal gain? If they discover a company is about to file for bankruptcy, (from bugs on executives' home phones,) will they sell stocks in that company? Do spy satellites indicate there are crop failures on the way, will insider trading occur in the commodities sector? If a betrayed wife is heard saying she is about to divorce and bring down a corporate executive with scandal, wlll his demise mean something to insider traders? I may be wrong about this, but I do resent the fact that my taxes support the "black budget of the CIA" and Congress has fixed it so we never know details of amounts or use of CIA money taken from public treasuries.
