Northern Exposure and Friday Night Lights actress Janine Turner has played Martha Washington and Alexander Hamilton's mom. But now she's fulfilling her lifetime role: Queen of the Constitution. "I've always had this fascination with the revolution," says the quirky actress who started Constituting America, which aims to get kids interested in the Constitution. "We live it every day, we just don't know it," she says. And Turner has proof that kids care. She and her daughter studied the Federalist Papers over spring break. Says young Juliette: "It's cool."

I have to commend you for your work with kids trying to make them understand the Constitution, and what it means. You are doing something our schools haven't done for decades. Kids nowdays have no clue when it comes to the sacrifices and hard won battles that were fought to give us the lives we have today. As a Citizen of this great Country, and someone who honestly loves the USA, I want to thank you for your hard work...Thank You!!

Sorry I don't have the title & author of a book telling how Martha Washington sent food to the troops & whatever other supplies she could gather. Men and women who gave their lives or goods to end our ties to a monarchy were wonderful. We are so lucky they existed. We're equally lucky that so many people were willing to give their assets, good health or lives to prevent slavers from destroying the republic. In contrast, we were cursed with many lawmakers who started wars and forced Americans to give lives and taxes to fight anti-capitalist nations. My mother was related to James Wilson, a Founder and one of the first justices of the Supreme Court. It is pleasure and my duty to defend the Constitution and make sure the civil government does not enforce church laws, like those that ban abortion. After much effort to defend civil rights, I now believe the most important project is to regulate population all over the world. There are simply too many people. We create demands that are met by deforestation and over-use of all natural resources. Rats, when crowded, turn on one another, and so do people. Poverty is always proof that too many people exist, for too few jobs. Prochoice is the only patriotioc philosophy.

George Washington's farewell to politics that was published in Philadelphia is also an interesting read. He offers some strong opinions concerning the politics of Party and how we should avoid it at all cost.
