Democrats Push Climate Bill as a Jobs, National Security Package

Some think if they drop the climate references the bill will stand a better chance.

Saving President Obama’s energy and climate bill might come down to this: Drop the climate references and talk about it as a jobs and national security bill. “The pitch should be it immediately creates jobs and helps national security when we start developing home-grown energy, not buying it overseas,” says a top Democratic strategist.
