10 Winners in the Healthcare Debate

By Paul Bedard, Washington Whispers

The historic healthcare victory has made big winners out of the personalities involved. President Obama and Speaker Nancy Pelosi are two names now written into the history books. And even foes like Minority Leader John Boehner and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell get footnotes. [See a slide show of the 10 healthcare winners.]

But there were a bunch of other winners, especially among interest groups, political campaign operations, and even news outlets. We polled our insiders to come up with the best 10, including the Drudge Report and AFSCME.

It is obvious that there were lots of "winners" - and only one real loser: THE AMERICAN PUBLIC!

Jan. 1, 2010 I started to pay copays which in the past I did not. The reason was that a copay could not be submitted by Medicare. At that time Medicare was my primery and Aetna was my secondary. Now I have a joint Aetna-Medicare which reqiures a $20.00 copay and many other coinsurance deductables befor I can get Hospital treatment.

If this new Medicare policy is for the good of the retiree then I hate to see whats coming next. If this Insurance was nogoticated by my Ohio state enployees unions , they must have said yes to everything the insurance company wanted.

Please see what you can come up with which would be so good that my out of pay went up 100%

Thank You:
