Hm hm.. that's very interessting but honestly i have a hard time understanding it... I'm wondering what others have to say....

Republicans need to pull out the heavy guns to attack what's ailing the nation, but merely promoting balancing the budget, halting terrorism, and weaning the nation from Middle East oil isn't going to get America working again. That's a recipe for economic depression.

The Republican party that got us into this mess is clueless about getting us out of it.

The heavy guns to attack what's ailing the nation are raising taxes, especially on the most wealthy, providing more economic stimulus than the paltry amounts offered by Obama so far, and maybe even bringing back some tariffs on imports to encourange more American production of goods and some government-sponsored make work projects like the old CCC and WPA.

David, what a wonderful comment. Republicans inflected Bush and corporate greed and criminal behavior on this country without ever having the sense to see how corrupt Bush was. Their great concern about the deficit now is just a lot of phony hogwash, but it is enough to get all their little chickens in a row. If these republican voters think that the very same corrupt republicans who enabled Bush are going to do what is right now they are seriously mistaken. These repubs are mean, hateful and greedy. They have not had the people's business in mind for a long time.

Religion does not belong in politics. I do not want your beliefs shoved down my throat. Issues such as gay marriage, abortion, etc. have nothing to do with how we are going to pay down deficits, fight terrorism, or bring back jobs.

And I ask again, where were these concerned GOP voters when it was a white Republican in office bringing us the largest deficit in the history of the nation.

They let the GOP run the deficit up by giving away billions in 2001 so called tax-rebates and again in 2004, then they gave George a pass on allowing 911 to happen, then they gave George a pass on starting the Iraq war through lies and deceit which really bumped up the deficit a war that they finance by borrowing from China a nation they've pegged as our enemy since the 50s.

So basically it's the entire GOP including their constituents that are to blame for this mess. Basically I think most republicans are just plain racist and partisan.

They'll let an old white Republican get away with murder but hold the rest of the world to a different standard.

Oh don't try to tell them it's not about religion they've been using that to justify anything they want to do as though they are personally sanctioned by Jesus himself. Hypocrites all of them as are their "followers".
