Mr. LaHood ought to spend less time worrying about things best left to cities and states and pay more attention to how the stimulus is being spent on infrastructure projects. With all that this administration is piling onto our plate [a plate full of lots of slop], they need to realize that we can only take in so much slop from them at one time.

I rear ended someone once at Panama City beach as I was watching the amazing rear end of a thong-clad beauty as she was peeling of her little jeans shorts. What type of law can you come up for this one?

How many people are killed in autos each year?

What percentage of those are caused by:

A) Drunk Driving

B) Talking/Texting/General Distractedness

C) Speeding

D) Falling Asleep

I understand "picking the low hanging fruit" first but why is it (once again) that people - and plotiticians, specifically - can't think clearly? Let's throw more money at it, pass a new law, and violate freedoms in general, all in the name of safety. Sure, I understand the desire to do exactly that, but in the end, doesn't it really boil down to bad behavior? People have to have the distinct moral character that keeps them from doing things that can needlessly harm others. Stop being such self-centered, egotistical jerks and think about others every once in a while.
