This is so dangerous it could cause more harm then good. The reason why I say this because no one can keep their eyes on the road and text too. When text & driving at the same time would cause a accident condering it to be fatal or someone else loosing their life. So in my closing "PLEASE WATCH THE ROAD!!!"

texting and drivng at the same time is not good ; it is very un safe. i understand that you may need to answer your phones but you can hurt someone or yourself by doing that.

people will still text and drive if you make it a law. We all brake laws in time, so what would you think people would not brake the law of texting and driving.

This is good to do at your house while you sleep while you eat but dont do it while you drive its very bad. Its enough distraction that you need to look at the road and predict what other people are doing and go by the 3 second rule, also the idiots on the road. What if someone makes a wrong turn and your not paying attention to what there doing your basically done and your cars totalled. What if you make the wrong turn and the person turns into you and your not paying any attention but looking at your phone and driving its just a good thing that someone wants to prevent this i feel this is a good idea.

Like i was saying that NM should make a law for textin and driving.....for this reason is that who ever is driving and texting will hurt the other person...and that if they get away with it then it wont be a law.....so i say that it should be a law...just like how drinking and driving is a law.....and that their should be a fine on it to

I live in Los Angeles & work in Beverly Hills and am baffled that now that we have a law against cell phones and texting while driving nothing is being done to enforce the law. I don't drive any longer by choice so I notice just how many people just don't care. I have almost been run over in crosswalks 5 times in the past 6 months alone, all 5 people were on their phones mostly texting. I was in Italy last Spring and was amazed that NO ONE uses cell phones in their car. I did not see one person in the entire 3 weeks I was there using their cell phone while driving, not one. The reason is, Italy penalizes cell phone use by giving points on your driving record and if you get 10 points your license is taken away permanently. GENIUS!! Why don't we do the same. Before cell phones the life and the world were just fine. Without phones in cars we will all be more safe and the world wont come to an end.
