Calling for a National First Ladies Day

The holiday should be a Federal holiday in the month of June, since there are no major holidays (beyond Flag day) in June. I suggest the 3rd Monday in June.

I believe the idea behind a National First Ladies Day is great! Those ladies stood by their husband's sides throughout their term(s) in office, and when you're alone up front, it's nice to have someone special to comfort you and be supportive. We honor Mother's Day, don't we? Why not pay our respect to the First Ladies!

We didn't elect first ladys but rather leaders and I'm suprised Democrats are pushing for something like that. It is usually when they get too pushy and are in the forefront with their agenda that public opinion turns against them. Ask Slick Willie and Health Care I. We at least back then had a feeling of being flush with cash. Now with skin in the game to the tune of 4 "trillion" after one year and no turn around in sight, making a feel good holiday is the answer? Who has this guy surrounded himself with?
