One, I'd never buy a Ford again if Mulally runs as a GOPer. I understand he supports the rich white guy, anti-environment, anti-American worker party, but that's different than running for office.

Two, the George W. Bush presidency was supposed to be the CEO presidency, and it was an absolute, total, complete, abject failure on every level. Maybe that's because George W. Bush was a complete failure as a businessman (too), but it sure doesn't bode well for having business experience translate to political office.

Mullaly would be OK as a business person in Washington, but a corporate lobbyist would have more experience in running the country and getting results from Congress.

It might be nice to have a Business person in charge for a change.

Perhaps THEY might understand the concept of a "budget" or "return for the $" and "massive debt is BAD" or "selling your corporate soul to the devil"!

Running several small businesses, these are the 2nd most challenging things I've done in my life right behind being a single Father to two girls.

Someone to LEAD this country that has SOME kind of experience running something ...Now that would be a plus.

Been a long time I'd say...bit over a year now?

how this author mixed an executive doing a car show with the "tea party" concept? And who EXACTLY are the un-named "fans" supposedly whispering this utter nonsense?

Ford borrowed more and earlier from others, so it did not have to borrow from the government. Fine. That's a tea party movement?
