Michelle Obama’s Surprise for White House Tourists

It's the dream of every White House tourist: to catch a glimpse of the first family walking through the executive mansion.

But on Wednesday, Michelle Obama did that dream one better. She and first pup Bo surprised tourists with an impromptu receiving line in the Blue Room, where she greeted around 400 guests.

"Most of the people were just genuinely surprised," says one visitor. "One woman had tears in her eyes. Some of the kids walked in, saw Mrs. Obama, then saw Bo, and exclaimed, 'Bo!' "

This is a human guesture to let the public know the President and First lady is human like everyone else. As far as a failing government. The President can only fail if we don't support him. He has 8 years of cleaning up Bush mess, I can see progress in the two years he has been in office. You rather we hit harder times with another oil greedy, war hungry, don't care about the people president. Wait until you need Medicare or Medicaid and see what smack you will be saying then. It looks like a desperate public relations attempt from an administration that has completely failed. After only one year, the Obama administration has proven to be the phoniest and worst in history.
