i find it funny that teams try to bench key players only to lose their first game of the play offs, yes they have home field and a by week but when ur players are out the get rusty, how many times have u seen a team that pulls this win their next game much less make it to the super bowl?

I agree.The benching of Peyton was an example of sound judgment.Invaluable real game experience,rehearsal of with cadence of a different QB serves the center position & the offense as a whole.There is definitely enough pressure coming at him (with extreme malice)to simulate a playoff game.Not to leave out the pressure of maintaining the drive to the "perfect season".If QB 1 gets hurt or is somehow less effective that day ,reload with the battle tested QB 2.
