"I wish Pres and Mrs Bush happy and fulfilling lives, they both deserve it. Pres Bush led

our country thru horrific and tragic times (that he caused) with dignity, respect and courage.

The Bushes exemplified the proper decorum due the office of the President..."

-- LDeese on Carolina,

You mean like the times when Bush would lift his leg and fart to shock the new interns?

Didn't he call that "The Crawford welcome?"

Yeah, that Bush is a classy guy...

Just still waiting to see his discharge paper including time lost. Plus the administrative punishment for missing formation and flight physical. No opne gives a damn where you served. Just like they did to Kerry. Show us the DD-214, buddy.

How many times are we going to hear this draft dodging charge come up? Only those who never served during those times mouth off. For the 14 miilionth time, when you are in the Reserve, your total commitment is 6 years as it is for all sevicemen-Active and Reseve. Most who were drafted served 2 years Active and then do a 4 year inactive resrve commitment with no meetings but they could still call you back. Those who went into the Reserve, served 1 day short of 6 months and then did 5 plus years of once a month weekend meetings and normally were done earlier as the demand for Reservists fell to almost zilch.Bush served almost 5 full years of active Reserve daily duty as a pilot. His type of plane was phased out and they would have to re-train him.It would have been a waste of time for a pilot with no time left on his enlistment, let alone a Reservist. The fact that he was re-assigned in Alabama has nothing to do with anything. That Reserve Unit did not fly that style of plane and when you move,as a Reservist can do,all you need is the approval of your new and old commander. It's kind of odd that my commitment after 22 months as an Active draftee in the Marines was less than his and I never saw the danger that he did flying those old wrecks.I did my time in Supply on Okinawa and in North Carolina. It's funny watching the 60's draft-dodgers or those who never served calling those who served in the Reserves "draft dodgers".They can't get over the fact that Kerry and Gore "served" less than Bush and both got out well before Bush.Gore served something like 6 months in Nam with a personal bodyguard.Huh? Back then you served a year minmum but, hey,it's Uncle Al. And noone knows how Kerry got out early but we know every detail whether fact, fabricated memo or Dan Rather fiction about Bush. You really gotta give it up.It's bordering on psychotic ...

Change? people want change...but curse it when it happens!Would you have the change be that we are cowards? President Bush fought and protected this country. Should we have stuck our heads in the sand when we, if any are the country that the world looks to as a role model. We have the right to be free! live and LET live! But if actions call for it we must stand up for what it right, good, and true. or elese we are simply say its okay to be bullied! I still have my lunch money! And pretending that I wasn't getting picked on didn't make the bully go away....its called gaining respect!!

The name of his book "I was a lying, draft dodging murderer!"

Is there anything to the rumors that George W Bush will be tried on all the illigal acts he did while president? I hope so. This man should be tried, and incarcerated for what he has done to this country.

I think all ten people who think Bush is a good President must have commented on this board already!

Pete of CT 1:36PM December 30, 2009

Wow, what a crazy alterna-world US News lives in where readers think Bush was a good President! People can sure convince themselves of any lie to support their already long-held political views, huh?

Bush started a completely unjust war in Iraq and has killed hundreds of thousands of people and has made the world less safe because god, or rather, the crazy voice in his head, told him to. Also, memory is short because the economy completely sucked in 2008, worse than it does now! The fake prosperity we enjoyed was totally unravelled long before Obama became President. But go ahead, believe the lies since the future of the planet really doesn't matter because god will come rescue you before it all blows up, right?

His party thinks the six days he waited to address the nation after the shoe bomber is less time than the four days it took Obama to address the nation after the undie bomber. The GOPartyOfHypocrisy ran up the deficit with Medicare Part D, and they think six is less than four.
