I agree with Anai- PETA just wants to get people upset! And, they are happy with taking the 'blame' as long as it gets their organization noticed.
I agree with this quote wholeheartedly: "We find it ironic that an organization dedicated to ethical treatment of animals can have such a low standard of ethics when it comes to respect for fellow humans." Once PETA starts treating women with respect, maybe I'll stop going to KFC.

Peta's campaigns take away the focus of what is most needed - saving these animals. If I were a member, I would be disheartened and embarrassed to be associated with an organization that blatantly uses religion, race, slavery, etc to further itself. Peta tramples on the weaknesses of others and cashes in their exploitation.
What exactly does Playboy and nudity have to do with animals?
Offending a specific audience is what Peta's intentions are and to say that this somehow a positive thing - is ludicrous.
