A Wine Club at the National Rifle Association

I believe it is a mistake for the NRA to associate their good name with this organization. Recently they implemented a membership fee as a way to get around some suppose California buercratic law and in return sent me a $30 voucher I couldn't use. I cancelled my membership and was told I would be refunded my memebership fee. Since it didn't come off my bill I called back and was told I needed to cancel the membership before they imposed this new fee. How in the world did I know they were going to impose it. It was nothing I agreed to. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told they were busy but one would call me back within an hour or so, however no return call. Not only is their wine bad, but so are there ethics. The NRA needs to distance itself from such organizations or I may sadly have to cancel my NRA membership as well.

I joined. Got my first six bottles. Spectacular - spectacularly awful. If it had come down to it, Charlton would have happily given Nancy Pelosi his 30.06 rather than drink this stuff.

Enjoying a fine wine is a cultural pleasure dating back thousands of years. Meal-matched wines are currently enjoyed by people around the world. Liberals, Conservatives, and everyone in-between occasionally partake of their favorite wine. The NRA recognized this cultural demand and has cleverly devised a business plan using wine to create a little extra income. They could have tried selling NRA-branded medical marijuana, but wine appeals to a higher class societal strata, typical of most NRA members.

"...probably not responsible enough to handle a firearm." There should be no rules, regulations or even opinions as to who handles a firearm in this country. The constitution is the constitution and we must protect it at all costs. Any person who wants a gun should have a gun. People kill people, no gun just aimed itself and fired itself and killed somebody because it didn't like that person. What liberal gets to say who is "responsible enough." If some goofy tree huggers want to join the NRA and start a wine club, just make sure they paid their dues and put 'em in a seperate room or something.

If only people waited for such activities to end before getting tanked on the sauce... but this is not reality. I was being sarcastic in my preivous post. In fact it happens more than we realize.

Good post. In deed Josh is revealing a troubling characteristic of a truly unstable facetious indevidual.

To Josh of Idaho. If your not aware that the wine is for after shooting activities, than your probably not responsible enough to handle a firearm.

Woooooow!!!! If there is one thing that goes good with weapons, it's booze. NRA, you are truly brilliant. What will you come up with next?
