The same people who are saying that Obama should not be held responsible for 2 years after he is in office because of the previous administrations left overs . Good I am glad we have that very clear. So that means that President Bush had nothing to do with (9/11) concerns and it was odviously Clinton who cause the recession and 9/11 which has drawn the United Staes into two major conflicts. Finally some accountability. I never thought I would see the day when the democrats admit the short falls. Now Bush put in the tax cuts which if I look at the Charts correctly develope new jobs and help people who where out of work up until 2004 . Oh yeah thats right Bush was still President. I think Barney Frank was ask during this time how was Freddie Mac and Freddie Mai and he is caught on tape and on the record saying there was not problems with both institutions . You right this was Bushes fault should not of trusted a damm word he said. Oh wait a minute there was a Democratic congress put in place in 2007 and is still there today. Now tell me if I wrong but did not President Obama sign 770 billion dollar stimulus to help in the recovery which did,t do anything but give us more debt . You maybe I am wrong it was George Bush disguised as Obama . Damm I was really fooled

Bush never spent money.....well, I believe the war that he started out of lying cost a pretty penny each month. I don't care what president would have been in there they would have caused your taxes to go up, get real and face reality. Yes, Obama did get the Bush mess and he isn't going to take us out of it in one year. Maybe if you republicans wouldn't have ran Sara Palin with your Grandpa you wouldn't have to be whinning.I also think if you republicans would wake up and stop watching lying stations like Fox...insane Hannity and Glenn Beck you could get a little smarter.Watching stupid insane people like that don't make republicans smart. Just sit back and enjoy the 3 yrs. of a different President like we did for 8 yrs. of no mind Bush!

What we have at this point in the history of our country is a bloated, spoiled, incompetent, and self-indulgent business community. There's never been such a whining and sniveling bunch of incompetents as we have now running the corporations in this country.

Here's just some of their mantras:

1. Cut my taxes so I can skate by without paying my fair share.

2. Don't regulate anything so I'm free to exploit, pollute, and contaminate with impunity.

3. Give me special treatment from government, bought and paid for with campaign contributions, to cover up my lack of talent, business acumen, and leadership skills.

4. Allow me to monopolise so true competition and a free

markets don't exist to expose me for the greedy and incompetent fraud that I am.

The problem with our economy today is that we've been pampering our business community when we should be jamming a great big government boot up their collective asses.

The remedy for a spoiled, complaining, and whimpering business community is for the Government of the People, for the People, and by the People, to confiscate poorly run businesses (like GM) and turn them over to new, competent, and motivated, leadership able to fulfill their responsibilities to our society without demanding special treatment and special advantages in return.

TIME TO CLEAN OUT THE UPPER ECHELON ON OUR FINANCIAL AND CORPORATE COMMUNITY.

There is only one problem trying to pass the blame, the situation is getting worse. At some point, just as the Afgan situation, the current administration has to take control, not let everything slide and blame Bush.

My memory tells me despite 9/11 and fighting the war, we were making great strides in out economy prior to the election of 2006 when the Democrats took over the majority in Congress. Since Pelosi and her liberal gang took over, it's been all downhill. Companies started cutting back by freezing salaries, laying off employees, depleting inventories etc. to prepare for future tax hikes as that is what the Dems do best. TAX TAX TAX

Also, when Bush took office, he also inherited a downturn in the economy from Clinton, pushing towards a recession. Bush cut taxes across the board and reversed its path. We now face a rollback of these tax cuts in 2010 and small businesses will undoubtedly take a hit, thus more layoffs. I find it ironic, that no one from the Chamber of Commerce, who is the major voice for small businesses were not invited to the job summit soon to take place. I was taught small businesses were the backbone of America, yet their voices will not be heard at the job summit. Can anyone explain to me why our community organizer President does not acknowledge the Chamber of Commerce?

Are you kidding me? Obama not blamed when he was the one telling everybody how he's going to bring hope and change? How far down do you have to dig to find bogus polls like this one?

To say that our economy is in poor shape because of the current administration is absurd. If you are being honest with yourself, you will see that the economy was in a recession BEFORE Obama was in office. So how is he to blame? He inherited the majority of the problems from the last administration.

Regardless of your political affiliation, I don’t think it is fair to judge this administration until at least two years. In two years if things have not changed, I will be the first to say so. However you cannot expect the economy to turn around so soon after being managed so poorly for so long. Why is each side so quick to point the finger anyway? Is that really going to get us out of the mess that we are in? I don’t care which side of the isle you are on, you can’t keep defending your party’s wrong behavior or flawed legislation. I challenge you to put your political views aside and answer the following questions HONESTLY.

Was the economy flourishing before Obama was voted in?

Can you really turn a struggling economy around in 10 months?

Rick of TX 1:33PM December 03, 2009

To see above that only 17% blame congress for the job losses is incomprehensible. No wonder we are in the mess we are in.

Who do you think passes the laws, not us, not the corporations, but congress. And most keep voting for the same DUDS all over again and again. Who gets punished for making the wrong decision and driving our country into the abyss - no one, because the people want to blame the president, who does not even pass laws, congress does! I think in order to vote people need to take a test first otherwise we won't ever get out of the morass we are in because of ignorance!

Viola of TX 5:21PM December 02, 2009

Paul,Doszap,Von are all right, we have to try to stop what he has done so far and keep the Obama's from Doing more than they have done !!!!!! Then maybe we can get him and the (progressives) out of office !!!!!
