I love both Hillary and Obama but my worry would be that Hillary would be 69 in 2016 and probably wounldn't have interest in running.

2012 will be the end of an awful error in socialism. Dems will be scrambling to find a suitable replacement for Obama after the 2010 elections. Hillary and Biden, along with Pelosi, will begin positioning themselves to run in 2012. If one of that threesome were to win, it truly would be the end of the world as the movie indicates.

If the GOP had nominated a viable, younger, more articulate candidate like Romney in 2008, we would not be in the mess we are today.

2012: End of an Error.

My perspective is very much outside the Beltway, but I perceive that this rumor is being promoted by the Republicans to sow disension and confusion in the ranks. Let the VP and the Secretary do their jobs without this stuff to distract them and their respective supporters!

I believe Obama's running mate in 2012 will be Nancy Pelosi.

Pelosi's even more incompetent then Biden which will align her better with the totally inept Obama.

The Clintons don't go away easily and I'm sure she still want's to be President (probably Biden does, too) and if she and Bill see this as a way to get there it won't surprise me if they make a push to replace Biden on the ticket in 2012, although the fact that they are friendly with Biden would complicate that scenario.

In the end, it depends on Obama and Biden and their relationship. According to a Newsweek feature on Biden a couple of months ago they have a good professional and personal relationship, which after a few strained moments (remember Obama's unkind remarks regarding Biden at an early March press conference), but if things are going well it would be surprising if he dumped Biden, a very loyal and capable VP (the gaffes notwithstanding) for Hillary in 2012

I don't think she will do good. She I think she just want to be the first woman president. She is running in an ego trip. I say this because I think she "blackmailed" bill into giving her New York senate in exchange of being a good sport and supportive wife after the Lewinsky case. It is hard for me to believe that she woke up one day in the white house feeling she wanted to be a new yorker. To be a good senator for a state; you should be able to know the state. For years preferable. You don't need to be born there but at least live long enough to understand how the state "ticks". I don't think she was honest. She just wanted a "sure" victory for any democrat in New York plus the glamor of representing New York. If she was really interested in the people she would have run for her home state; or for Arkansas were she was first lady and therefore should have a real good knowledge of the people in that state. Instead you have Obama who ran because he thought he could do the job; not to be the first Mulatto to become president in the U.S.A. If he do right or wrong it is because of him not his race. Still I am not really sure about him. I do like the idea of free health care but I don't agree with flooding banks and millionaire companies with so much cash. That money have to be paid back and it means people will have to pay for so. More taxes less services and benefits. Plus the dollar and the economy will be at best "shaky" for the next 10 to 15 years.

If Republicans don't recognize Palin's liability by mere association, they don't have a chance in 2012. Direct disassociation, the sooner the better. Blame it on McCain and his staff as a blunder to have ever taken her seriously on a national level.

Excellent! I hope the speculation festers into fact.

Time has passed since Catholic Biden put Clarence Thomas on the Court. Biden harmed Protestant Anita Hill by cutting short the hearing. Since then, a book exists that says other women have come forward with statements that Thomas made unsolicited, unwanted sexual advances to them. And that there's proof he did buy porn. Biden harmed us by interfering with the process that lets the Senate approve or cast off a nominee. I dislike the fact that Biden advances religion by wearing ashes on on his forehead to show everyone he's a devout subject of the pope, a foreign king. Sec. of State Clinton would be a treasure on the Court, as an effective defender of Constitutional rights. She & Clinton tried to get tax-paid abortion, but Far Right members of Congress were the majority. Our taxes are higher because there are always religious women who fear being tortured in Hell if they violate church law that bans abortion. They will have lots of children because they "leave every act of intercourse open to conception." Prolife exists to force women to produce more tithers to replace those who die. Long life to Pres. Obama.
