Where Democrats and Republicans Shop

Do you live, eat, and breathe politics? Well, here's a way for you to literally dress, eat, play, and drive like a Democrat or Republican, thanks to the teaming of the Center for Responsive Politics and the authors of Blue Pages, which adds up corporate political contributions. Democrats who want to follow the top donors should shop at the Gap, eat at Wendy's, wear Nikes, and drive a Ford. Republicans should wear Limited Brands, eat at Outback, tie up New Balance sneaks, and drive a Chevy.

You make it sound as if Goldwater was anti-worker, but did you know he introduced a profit-sharing plan before the unions probabnly even thought of it.Also, are you aware Hummers are better for the nevironment than hybrids.

Since Goldwater's faction stole assets of the Republican Party, and made it anti-union, anti-Labor, the GOP was taken over by Ban-Abortionists like Palin. While there are Pro-Life moles in the Democratic Party, they're not the majority. The Nader campaign was underfunded and deprived of publicity. If there were a successful Nader Party, its members would shop at farmers' markets or have their own vegetable gardens where possible. They'd drive high-mileage cars and shop at thrift stores. They'd invest in alternate energy and work for a reduced world population. It seems many people are registering as Independents. So maybe in a few years there will be enough votes to end forever the religious project to create more tithers, no matter how much damage it does to Earth. Since most shoemaking went overseas during the Korean War when US factories made military boots, most Americans will wear fancy shoes that look like they have 30 pieces. Like Europe, America is becoming more secular, less religious. That's wonderful, because it's a danger to the republic when people vote the way their preachers ask them to do.
