Ed Begley Jr is a real strange dude.. We have environmentsl problems which need an approach which will not bsnkrupt the Us..

His idea is to return to the 19th Century and stick it to the little guy.

Forget Cap and Trade. Too expensive and not proven to be needed. Good riddance to that communist Van Jones.

The messiah should focus on the economy and improving it rather than continually spending money and increaasing the debt. Yesterday, after 9 months in office and repudiating what the Republicans have been saying, Obama gives a little speech and says helping small business should be at the forefront of jobs creation and economic recovery. Duh! How long did it take the bright boy to wake up?

Nice rhetoric.

What a surprise.

How dare anyone care about the very system that keeps us all alive.

Ed, perhaps you haven't heard - the earth's temp has been dropping for some years now and the greenies have relabeled the stinking carcass of "Global Warming" to "Climate Change". The climate changes - who knew?

Anyway Ed, perhaps you were busy spading your humus pile, making eco-friendly candles or unplugging your "low flow" toilet, and you missed the news.

Oh, listen, I know it's difficult and time consuming living like a cave dwelling vegan, but here's just one more little tidbit of info it seems you've missed. Generally speaking, the earth began warming about 10,000 years ago, ending the last Ice Age. This was a good thing because it's really hard to grow stuff on a glacier. See Ed, most of the bio-mass on the planet grows in the warmer, middle latitudes - not so much in the frozen tundra. Losing the ice coating of the planet was a good thing - it makes your little organic veggie garden possible. See, that's nice isn't it?

Well Ed I've got to run - time to burn my plastic trash to counter your recycling. You see, I fear the return of the ice and must do my bit to save the planet.
