I think it's an amazing likeness to MJ in his later years. I'm glad the article was focused on his positive contributions.

Nepalese people know him as a famous artist. Some people in Nepal know about America because of him. I feel everyone in the world knows him because of his talent. He has contributed a lot to the world in many ways. So many people copied his style of action in song. Many people like him. He is man of the world.

Sweet article about a sweet and generous albeit complicated man. This caricature is EXACTLY what what M Jackson looked like to the public for the past many years! The artist was actually quite kind in his depiction of this tortured soul. Afterall, he did not strip MJ of his nose and wig!

Wow, do my eyes deceive me? This looks very much like decent, balanced, informed, unbiased journalism! And about Michael Jackson too! I was starting to think such a thing was impossible. How very refreshing. Wish there were more like you who could be bothered to report facts, and without slyly lacing them with some big fat juicy scurrilous lies to undermine the positives. You even failed to insult my intelligence by working in blatantly irrelevant speculative and snide comments alongside the truth. Well done! You are clearly one of the un-brainwashed, and thank goodness. Please could you give some of the scumbag tabloid bottom-feeders a few lessons in proper journalism and integrity?! Seriously, thank you Paul for being one of the good ones.

visionary people are not always appreciated or understood in their lifetime.the wright brothers were ridiculed.henry ford's intelligence was brought into question.many times people who think outside the box are subjected to all kinds of nasty speculation....mr jackson tried to positively influence the world through song and, charitable deeds, not just by writing a check.he got grief for it at every turn.lurid stories that were being paid for by tabloids masqurading as real news for money and ratings ,helped bring a sensitive compassionate person to his knees. it would be nice if someone could highlight the compassionate side of the gifted man .maybe that doent sell ...

Dear Mr Bedard. You are truly amazing. In a world where it is easier and the "in thing" to make fun of someone, or report negativity, your words are so refreshing. I appreciate your writing about the unforgettable "King of Pop". I hope you inspire others to also report the positive. Some media still don't know that Michael Jackson really was more than just "that guy that showed up for court one day in Pajamas" I am proud of you.

Thank you so very much for writing an article that really reflects the essence of Michael as the humanitarian/philantropist. Someone earlier wrote that his music was a mean to serve his greatest mission of being a humanitarian, I totally agree. Who on earth would give the proceeds of their entire concerts/tours...indeed such hard labor of sweat, blood and tears and in the case of Michael we know now that PAIN was also part of it because of his Lupus. It is time for the media to come clear where Michael is concerned and redeem themselves. Thank you again for writing the truth about Michael and let his work be known, his charitable legacy. It is ironic that the world seems to know more about Michael and seems to love him while here in America, Michael has known his greatest pain and humiliation. It is about time that the media remove the nails from the cross where they have been holding him even in his death.

Kenny Ortega recently referred to MJ as being Bioluminescent. He couldn't have been more accurate. But when your light shines too brightly there will always be those who become obsessed with dimming it. His light shown in dark places that some would prefer to remain obscure. Thank you for publishing this article- which is but the tip of the iceburg of his 4 decades of charity/ humanitarian efforts. The public needs more of this. His legacy is so much more than his incredible music- which inspired us and funded his humanitarian work. I've recently wondered if indeed the humanitarian work wasn't his highest priority and his music a means to that end. Will the masses ever get to know this man's true spirit and mission?
